Great location, property as described, and easy communication with manager!

The check-in was easy, location was close to Beech Mountain resort, and our family had a great time. Brittney, our manager contact, was very responsive and helpful.

A little disappointing...

1. The furniture is outdated, and mis-matched. Most of the furniture appears to be from thrift stores or discount box stores. The couch is worn and not very comfortable. 2. The towels and bedding are “bare bones” / low quality. The bedding is a mis-matched bundle of random blankets. 3. The mattresses are among the most uncomfortable I have experienced. They are incredibly firm. 4. The cabin needs updating. What has been updated is not very well done. For example, there are missing baseboards, door trim, etc. There is a weird unfinished service door in the bedroom. 5. The walls are scuffed, paint is chipped, and the windows are dirty. 6. The cabin had a strong curry / food odor. My wife ended up cleaning for about 30 minutes and we are still in a debate over if this could be rated a 1 vs 2 on the scale. 7. The entrance is 2nd story. This can be an issue with small kids and luggage. 8. The loft has low head clearance as you enter up the stairs. I am 5’ 8” and hit my head several times. 9. I would suggest bringing your own toilet paper and paper towels. 10. The decor doesn't match the advertisement pictures in some areas. *and now the positive: 1. The location is really good. From the door, It is about a 5 minute walk to a quad lift servicing blue trails. 2. The refrigerator, stove and basic appliances are all in nice condition. 3. The bathroom is in good condition. 4. The property manager was very responsive. -I could elaborate but are limited on words.
