The house was lovely. Very Very small but fine for one person or a couple. The neighborhood is great. Nice yard. The property has a main house and there is quite a bit of activity so the nice yard is shared and there were people on the property while I was there. Randomly viewing the main house. One lady literally looked in my window. All in all it wasn't bad. It could have been much better with better control of viewing of property during my stay.

So awful! Truly terrible. I usually don't leave bad reviews. I understand people have bad days and that's the balance of things, but this was bad and continued to get worse. 1. Didn't have my reservation. 2. Took the full payment out of my account TWO WEEKS before check in 3. Had to argue with the ring camera that I did have a reservation. To the point where a neighbor came out and asked me if someone was helping me. I had to call Vrbo and have them call the host to confirm that I did have a reservation and that I already paid. 4. The gate to get in the place swings open on its own. Does not lock. 5. Door was covered in cobwebs. 6. Had to throw a shoulder to get the door open. 7. THE WHOLE PLACE REEKS OF MOLD. IT'S LIKE STEPPING INSIDE OF AN OLD WET MOP. 8. The bed was wet. I stayed all of one night then packed up my things and checked into a hotel. Once checked in to my hotel, I called Vrbo and made an official complaint about the uncivil quality of this location. All I asked for was a partial refund. I just wanted my money back for the days that I wasn't there. The host then sent me a nasty message saying "I was trying to take advantage of them." and that they "will not provide any refund". Still in a back and forth with the host via Vrbo as I will not engage with this person again. She STOLE the money for the days that I didn't stay there. All I want is my money back for the days that I wasn't there. But now the host is being childish and throwing a tantrum.

Reservation and Payment: Your reservation was confirmed, and payment followed Vrbo’s standard policies. Security protocols, like the Ring camera, are in place for safety and were not intended to inconvenience you. Communication: Despite our multiple attempts to check in with you during your stay, you did not respond or report any issues. Without communication, we could not address or verify your concerns. Property Claims: The property was thoroughly cleaned and inspected before your arrival. There was no evidence of mold, wetness, or odors. The gate was left unlocked for your convenience, and the door, while secure, functioned properly. seems like you did not know how to lock it and did not care to ask either. Refund Request: Leaving the property without notifying us or giving us a chance to resolve concerns does not justify a refund. The property was reserved exclusively for your stay, and we turned away other bookings, incurring financial loss. We encourage resolving this matter professionally through Vrbo. However, unfair reviews and baseless claims are not constructive. We are happy to cooperate through proper channels to find a resolution but cannot support a refund based on unreported issues or unilateral decisions. Thank you for your understanding.
