Rose Trellis is a beautifully renovated historic brick house ideally located in the heart of town across the street from the Harpers Ferry Town Hall.

Avocet is one of three apartments in Rose Trellis. The apartment has a cozy living room, kitchenette/dining area on the first floor. The upper level features a bedroom with queen bed, a small adjacent room with a single bed, and full bathroom.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a narrow staircase leading to the 2nd floor. The 2nd floor ceilings are about 6 ft. 3 in. and doorways are about 5 ft. 11 in. PLEASE WATCH YOUR HEAD!

Great location

We overall enjoyed our stay at this property. It was within walking distance (less than a mile) of historic Harper's Ferry and there were two restaurants directly across the street (one of them vegan) as well as a bar. There's a nice bakery where you can grab pastries and a coffee a few blocks down as well. The apt. itself is small but comfortably furnished. The main queen bed was extremely comfortable. The stairs leading to the bedroom are very narrow (attic stairs) as the host states in their listing, but I think for younger people this is a really cool feature as it gives a unique "hidden" aspect to the upstairs area. Not a complete kitchen without an oven, but an air fryer is provided which was much appreciated. My only real complaint is that the downstairs area stays chilly, even blasting the heat at top capacity. However this didn't really detract from our stay. In the evening we shared a blanket to watch a movie and were perfectly comfortable. Host was communicative throughout stay, giving needed information in a timely manner. I would recommend to others and I would book again if I come back.

We enjoyed our time there tremendously. Place was actually larger than expected. Well located, with a 15 minute walk to down town . Easy communication and reasonably priced.

Cozy home in excellent location!

We loved the apartment! It was across the street from cafes and a live music venue and just minutes away from so many fascinating historical sites. I traveled with my husband and my 81 year old uncle. One note to consider for those with mobility issues - the interior steps may be a challenge which is often unavoidable in historic homes. That said, I highly recommend the apartment and the parks association guided tours for any future visitors!
