Not only has the outside of this complex been refurbished, but inside your vacation home, you'll be treated to a slew of new upgrades including a Samsung smart TV, the bed (including the bedding), shiplap walls, and a totally renovated bathroom. The well-appointed kitchenette features its own enhancements, as well as a new microwave, in addition to the mini-fridge, small oven, coffee maker, toaster, and two-burner stove (no dishwasher).

Additional amenities include access to a community coin-operated washer/dryer.

My husband, teen daughter, and I stayed here for a short weekend getaway. The condo was clean, access was easy, and location was exceptional. You have access to both the Crystal River and a lovely beach on Lake Michigan just steps out the back door. The community felt very safe. It is a small space for 3 people (teens need a lot of space). That was the only downside, but I would definitely rent this space again for just my husband and myself!

B2 was beautiful! Perfect location with easy access to Crystal River and the beach. It had everything we needed for the perfect mom/daughter get-away. The property appeared as described except it is an older wood building on sand and on the water. The property has an ant problem that wasn't disclosed. Ants everywhere. All day. All night. Crawling everywhere.

Outstanding Stay!

I stayed at this property for a few nights and it was perfect! I was so impressed with the cleanliness and high end finishes! This property was newly renovated and done very well! The unit had everything we needed and more! It is well stocked with a Keurig, pods, all necessary kitchen supplies including wine glasses and wine opener (A MUST). My friend and I were very disappointed to leave the extremely comfortable bed! I will absolutely be coming back!

Just right for a couple on a getaway to paradise

The condo unit, though small, comes with just about everything needed, except perhaps a night light. The location on the edge of the Crystal River is superb, surrounded by unsurpassed natural beauty, and steps away from the sandy shore of Lake Michigan. During our October stay, the salmon were running upstream, the leaves were at peak color, the sunsets over Sleeping Bear Dunes were gorgeous, and the gulls glided by in the sky. We even saw a bald eagle!

One of the best at The Homestead

We've stayed at many different condos at The Homestead. All have been excellent, however, Tall Timber B-2 has probably been the best yet. It is a great location, on the river and a few steps to the beach. Clean when we arrived, the furniture and bed were comfortable, the TV and streaming apps set up excellent. Especially liked that the instruction booklets for the appliance were at the ready so it was easy to get everything working. And the beach chairs - they are a real perk. I hope we have an opportunity to return to this specific unit in the future.
