We had a lot of fun on the river and fishing was awesome and the stay was nice very clean very well prepared secluded loved it all

I'm pretty sure this is the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed at. Nice and secluded. Great for the family who wants some peace and quiet. The kids had a great time in the water. Now the wife wants to go back with just the two of us.

Great Cabin for the stay

We enjoyed staying here. This is a really nice cabin with great amenities. We rented this in winter, but I feel like it would be an even better and fun place in the summer.

Beautiful area with great views. Perfect place to unwind, so quiet and peaceful. Great place to swim and fish, though don't tell too many people, I want there to be a vacancy for me next year!

Great Texas hill country getaway!

Loved the very private location, amazing water just steps below the cabin that was perfect for swimming (the dogs and me!), and even caught quite a few fish! Already thinking about the next visit here!

36th Anniversary

Brought our paddle boards and went up and down Hondo creek fmany times rom the steps of our private dock. Great location to visit Garner for the day. So private and peaceful that we extended our stay two more days.

The view off the back porch is AMAZING. Right along the river and across from the property is a rock face, not another home or dock so it's an unobstructed view of nature. Home was clean and uncluttered. Smelled a little musty when we arrived by opening the windows aired it out. Master bedroom mattress wasn't super comfortable but one of the other bedrooms had a more comfortable mattress available.

Great property, peaceful & remote.

We had a great stay overall, cute cabin with all the basic necessities. The location is very remote and private, we unfortunately had some noisy drunk neighbors to contend with during the weekend. I'm glad we brought a doggy dock with us, as the shore line is steep and inaccessible. It worked well for our Lab, but was still too deep for our pug. We found a nice accessible water crossing in Tarpley to take the pups to. Watching thunderstorms roll in on back porch was the highlight of the trip, truly beautiful.
