Located in the rural village of Manikata, surrounded by Malta‘s best beaches (Ghajn Tuffieha, Gneijna,Golden and Mellieha Bay) you will reside in this more than 350 year old house of character which has been expertly converted into a true gem that combines modern luxury (Jacuzzi, A/C‘s in both master bedrooms, Siemens appliances,...) with the charme of the old times. Pieces of art, high standard furniture and an incredibly cozy and peaceful yard full of plants round up this one of a kind place.
Since you book the whole house, you have access to 2 1/2 bedrooms, balcony, garden with BBQ, dining table, Jacuzzi, the huge living room with almost 4 m high ceilings, an artistic and light-filled dining room with a dining table that caters for up to 6 people and a luxurious kitchen. You are invited to use the fully equipped kitchen with SIEMENS appliances to prepare some delicious dishes using the mostly organic produce that can be found in and around the village of Manikata. Crockery and cutlery are available free of charge, as is the SIEMENS dishwasher. Our guests love the cozy living room with its chill-out corner and the large Samsung television with over 4,000 channels. On the first floor you will find the 2 spacious bedrooms with their bathrooms and the small semi-open gym.
Upon arrival you will find our guest book with all the important information about your accommodation and your holiday destination.
UPDATE: We have used the Corona break to make your vacation even more sustainable. From now on, the newly installed solar panels on the roof generate approx. 30% more energy than the house including its residents consumes!
Manikata can be reached by public transport (30 meters from the bus stop), by car and by taxi.
Parking spaces in front of the house on the street and/or 100m uphill in front of the church are available for free.
Attention: The most common maps on your phone want to send you to the town of Birkirkara because there´s a street with the same name. Make sure to insist to go to the town of Manikata, no matter what the taxi driver might say ;-)
