Holiday Loft AUGUST’S TREASURE CHEST

This spacious holiday loft offers a truly special retreat for two to ten guests. With a fully equipped kitchen and a newly built bathroom, it’s the perfect place for a family getaway in the heart of the historic mountain town of Marienberg, right in the UNESCO World Heritage Ore Mountain Mining Region. Optionally, three separate double rooms can be added.

The holiday loft August’s Treasure Chest provides space for two to ten people. The main living area features one double bed, with another in the adjoining studio room. Need more sleeping space? Simply book up to three additional double rooms, each with its own double bed and directly connected to the loft via a door. This way, up to ten people can enjoy comfortable accommodation. Planning to bring more than ten guests? No problem! Sofas in the loft can easily be converted into extra beds, so groups of up to twelve are welcome. We look forward to hosting you!

Holiday loft, fitness room with sauna, pool, trampoline and table tennis (available spring through autumn), plus a library, a 2,000 m² shared garden, sun terrace with loungers, BBQ and campfire area, chicken coop and vegetable garden – fresh salads, tomatoes, beans, strawberries and herbs included…

Garden with BBQ and sauna are included in the price. Bringing pets must be arranged with the hosts before arrival and is subject to a fee: €8/day. Tourist tax is settled on-site: adults €2.10/day, children up to and including 16 years free. Express bookings (within 24 hours before arrival) can be arranged upon request – €70 surcharge.

Dear guests, contactless check-in and check-out are currently in place. You will receive instructions from our “holiday fairy” in advance, including where to pick up the key and where to return it.

Hand sanitiser is provided on-site.
Late check-out until 4 p.m. available upon request – €20 surcharge.
Pets are warmly welcome.

Danke für ein schönes WE

Wir hatten ein schönes Wochenende in der Unterkunft- es ist wie auf den Bildern. Einziges Manko war, dass die Sauna nur einen Ofen mit Holz hat und sich nicht wie eine richtige Sauna aufheizen ließ.

Lieber Marko, vielen Dank für die positive Bewertung. Das Erzgebirge ist auch im Sommer einen Besuch wert. Im Garten unserer Marienberger Villa Stark steht dann auch ein Pool bereit und in der Pobershauer BERG.WELT gibt es eine Beachvolleyball-Fläche. Außerdem gibt es in beiden Objekten eine Lagerfeuerstelle. An sonnigen Tagen empfehlen wir die vielfältigen Wanderrouten und Freibäder in der Nähe.

Perfekter Platz in Marienberg

Sehr schöne, geräumige Ferienwohnung mit außergewöhnlichem Interieur. Perfekter Ort mitten in Marienberg mit bester toller Ausgangslage für diverse Wanderungen. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die Herzlichkeit und Offenheit der Gastgeber. Für Kinder auch ganz toll: der Gemüsegarten und der Hühnerstall.

Top Ferienwohnung und ein entspannter Aufenthalt

Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung sofort wohl gefühlt, es hat nichts gefehlt ! Die Lage ist auch super, sehr zentral und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gleich um die Ecke... Die Sauna haben wir ebenfalls genutzt, sie wird durch einen Holzofen beheizt und wird angenehm warm. Nicht zu vergessen die super freundliche Vermieter-Familie, die wirklich Freude ausstrahlten, uns schöne Urlaubstage zu ermöglichen! Danke dafür!! Und unser Neun-Satz-Tischtennis-Match werde ich so schnell nicht vergessen ;-) You‘re a pro, bro!!! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sonnige Tage in Marienberg

Wir haben die Tage in dem außergewöhnlichen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestalteten Loft sehr genossen. Die Vermieter waren sehr bemüht, unseren Wünschen direkt nachzukommen :) Im Loft selbst und auf dem schönen großen Gartengrundstück gab es überall kleine künstlerische Details zu entdecken. Schön war auch, dass wir fast jeden Tag ein frisches Ei im Hühnerstall für unser Frühstücksrührei fanden! Durch den jungen Sohn der Familie bekamen wir außerdem am ersten Tag eine tolle Einweisung in alle Begebenheiten. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem Objekt und können es jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen. Ihr solltet euch darüber im Klaren sein, dass ein Bett sich im Gemeinschaftsbereich befindet und somit etwas weniger Privatsphäre gewährleistet ist. Und hat es nicht gestört, man sollte es nur wissen.

Great place but not matching the description

Overall we had a nice time at the loft, but when we arrived we were a bit disappointed and had the feeling the description and pictures were not matching the reality. It was not clear to us that we had to share the garden and that the terrace was not accessible from the loft (you need to leave the loft, walk on the street to access the garden and terrace). It's also not said that the SPA requires extra payment and is also not accessible directly from the loft. The garden has much less trees than on the pictures, so it makes it a bit less nice. The loft itself is beautifully decorated, big and clean. The indoor fireplace is super nice as well. Andrea's daughter was the one welcoming us and she was lovely and made everything so we can have a nice stay. Overall we had a nice stay, just not matching our expectations.

Dear guest, thank you for the review. The misunderstanding may have arisen due to the existing language barrier - we are working on communicating our services completely in English. However, this would still not be enough because you are French ... but we are also working on it - two of our children are learning your beautiful language. We are really glad that you enjoyed it so much! And hope you will come back soon. A French couple with two daughters went on vacation here with great joy last year. PS .: The access from the loft directly into the garden is currently under construction and will be completed at the end of June. Follow pictures.

Sehr "starker" Urlaub

August Schatzkiste... Es hat an nichts gefehlt! Parkplätze, Sauberkeit und hier und da ein Smalltalk mit dem Eigentümer... Sauna, Sportraum und eine dichte Anbing ins Stadtzentrum.... Sehr herzliche und freundliche Atmosphäre! Wir waren begeistert und erholt... Ich empfehle diese Unterkunft sehr gerne weiter!!!! Ganz liebe Grüße aus MV
