We absolutely loved our stay! The home was wonderful, and the hosts were truly outstanding. Communication was excellent from start to finish—they were incredibly responsive, helpful, and made everything so easy. We had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Rock Chalk Weekend! This was a great stay for a combo KU football game on Friday followed by a Dad’s weekend. Plenty of space for a family with kids or in our case another family one night with their college daughter visiting. Wayne was very responsive and helpful before we arrived with a couple questions we had and some welcome goodies! The place is decorated like a KU sports museum which I loved, including sports books and memorabilia all over. Couch (main one… there are a couple) is very big and comfy for watching movies or games too. Super clean and beds were very comfortable as well. This would be a great option for a family visiting KU on a school visit or for all sorts of sports events in Lawrence. It was a bit of a hike to The Booth football stadium (30 minutes) but to Allen Fieldhouse it was an easy 15-20 min walk or just 5 min drive to each. Highly recommend!

Perfect place for KU drop off!

We wanted a place close to campus that had room to assemble some dorm items the night before move in. Less than 2 minutes from the dorm and couldn’t be a nicer place! Loads of room and very comfortable! Definitely would come back!

Everything was great about this property! The hosts could not have been friendlier. We loved the extra touches provided with KU stickers, can koosies etc. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and we loved that k-cups and coffee creamer were provided. We definitely recommend staying here! Thank you!

Rock Chalk location

This property is at an ideal spot if visiting campus. It is a short walk to the dorms, Allen Fieldhouse, and the Lied Center, and a short drive to downtown Lawrence. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time staying here. It was very clean and super roomy for a family of 5. The Simien’s were very thoughtful and helpful for our entire stay! Best host we have had in Vrbo in many stays!!! Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful Mom’s weekend in Lawrence! The Simien’s are very gracious hosts and the property is very comfortable and clean. It is a perfect location, so close to campus. We hope to return next year!

Great location near KU

We came in for our son’s final home baseball weekend at Hoglund and this was the perfect location. The space was very clean, spacious, and had a well supplied kitchen. Beds were comfortable and living area was great. The outdoor space was wonderful as well. It was perfect for our needs. Highly recommend.

Moms Weekend

Myself and a friend were in town for Moms weekend at KU. Easy, private access to the owners finished basement which was very clean, spacious, and welcoming! Bed was comfy and I thoroughly enjoyed the KU gifts and snacks!

Great visit to KU

We stayed at this property for family weekend for our son’s fraternity. We have a family of 5 with kids aged 11-20. The property (which is the basement of a lovely home) comfortably accommodated our family.
