Apartment Holgenbach - Eifel National Park, great view, center, private

We're open again! Last year, we were closed for a large part of the year to carry out a complete energy-efficient renovation. We also built a large covered terrace on the upper floor and added a large balcony to the ground-floor apartment! We are very pleased with the results of the entire renovation and hope our guests enjoy the comfort and the renovated house during their stay!

Villa Holgenbach is a wonderful (family) home with fantastic views, plenty of space both inside and out, and fully equipped. Located in the Eifel National Park and within walking distance of the center of Schleiden.

Villa Holgenbach is a delightful holiday home and consists of two separate apartments (Penthouse Holgenbach on the upper floor and Apartment Holgenbach on the ground floor). The apartments can be rented separately or together as a complete holiday home. This makes the villa ideal for a large family, a three-generation holiday, two families, or friends who want to enjoy all the activities and nature in the Eifel together. The two separate apartments offer a comfortable getaway while also offering privacy. The villa's layout perfectly complements this. Because Penthouse Holgenbach is much more spacious, it's a wonderful place to dine and relax with the whole family, or both families. There's plenty of room for everyone, plenty of tableware, an extra-large refrigerator, and you can all dine together at the large table outside and enjoy the beautiful view!

The villa is located in Schleiden, within walking distance of the town center, on a quiet street. It boasts stunning views and a perfect sunny position. Free Wi-Fi, a Smart TV (including Chromecast, so you can watch everything you watch at home by streaming from your phone/tablet or logging in to Netflix apps, etc.), and cable TV are available. Free parking is available (including a garage). Schleiden is situated in the beautiful Eifel National Park, and cycling and hiking trails open directly from the villa. Many other activities are available in the immediate vicinity.

Penthouse Holgenbach (top floor) has two bedrooms, a large living room (with a large sofa bed), a large, inviting wood-burning stove and dining area, a separate dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, and a separate toilet. This is a wonderfully spacious apartment. There is a large terrace of 75-100 m² with fantastic views, several seating, dining, and relaxation areas, a trampoline, a BBQ, and a garage.

Apartment Holgenbach (ground floor) has two bedrooms with double beds, a bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and toilet, a living room, and a fully equipped kitchen/diner. The kitchen/diner provides direct access to the spacious balcony/terrace with a dining table, lounge chairs, a BBQ, and a parking space next to the garage.

An 11KW charging station for electric cars is located outside the garage. Guests can use it for a fee. Please inquire about charging options.

If Villa Holgenbach is rented as a whole, we have set a maximum of eight adults per stay for your comfort.

Villa Holgenbach is located in Schleiden, 500 meters from the town center. There are several restaurants and shops. The bus stop is 500 meters away. Hiking trails begin right at the house. The dead-end street ends in nature after about 300 meters. The Eifelsteig, Wildernistrail, and Rur-Olef trails run through the municipality of Schleiden. In Gemünd, you'll find the Tor National Park Eifel. On the Schleiden municipality website, you can download various hiking trails with distances ranging from 1.3 km to 23.1 km, as well as cycling routes. The Erlebnisfreibad Dieffenbach swimming pool is within walking distance. There is a hospital, several general practitioners, and dentists. There's plenty to discover and do in the area. A visit to Aachen, Cologne, Bonn, Koblenz, Trier, and Maastricht is highly recommended. All cities are within an hour to a little over an hour's drive. Or visit the wine regions of the Ahrthal or the Moselle. Other tips: Monschau, Blankenheim and Bad Münstereifel, the Nürburgring, Phantasialand, Lake Rur, Lake Kronenburger See, the Kyllradweg, the Vennbahn, the Ahr-Radweg, the Weisser Stein winter sports area in Udenbreth, and the Wildfreigehege nature reserve in Hellenthal.
