Sea Haven Villa is a completely renovated, 2-story penthouse villa at Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina. Beautiful ocean front overlooking the marina from the large picture windows, and just steps away from the soft sands of Sapphire Beach.

The villa sleeps 4 and has two full baths

The entire villa has been newly renovated with a modern aesthetic. The villa offers wide open living spaces with a private upstairs and downstairs balconies with views of St. John and the British Virgin Islands.
The space
The villas main level has a wide-open living space to relax on the plush couch with a large screen TV or spend your time around the gorgeous new quartz counter tops or kitchen table. There are plenty of kitchen utensils and cookware to make meals on the brand-new stove top, toaster oven and microwave. A brand-new Keurig coffee is stocked with a diverse selection of coffee pods and ready for your morning brew. If you prefer the more-professional touch, the Beach Buzz Coffee Bar is a short walk away for lattes and many breakfast options. When we are staying at the Villa, my wife walks over to The Beach Buzz every morning and comes back a new woman!

The villa also has new floors on the main level as well as the upstairs. Enjoy lounging on the spacious main level balcony as you look out to St. John and the British Virgin Islands. You always feel like you are experiencing the beauty of the Caribbean with the floor to ceiling glass doors and windows. The main level also has a full bathroom with large shower.

Walk up the beautiful mahogany wood stairs to the second level of the villa and into the bedroom. The bedroom has soaring 18 feet ceilings with gorgeous wood beams. There is also a large new fan to keep you cool as you drift off to sleep in the spacious and brand-new king size Sealy memory foam mattress. The second level also has its own private balcony. Drink your morning coffee and enjoy the sunrise or sip sunset cocktails in the evening. There's AC too!

A second full bathroom with a rain shower is located on the second floor of the villa adjacent to the bedroom. Relax and read a book in the cozy chair in the corner of the bedroom or watch TV on the upstairs flat screen TV. There is plenty of space to spread out and unpack with double dressers in the bedroom and a closet to hang your things.

Several places at Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina have two bedrooms upstairs and sleep 6. If you need to sleep 6, but all means, rent one of these units instead of mine! However, all units at Sapphire Beach and Marina are the same size in terms of square feet. A two-bedroom upstairs might be nice if you want two bedrooms. But we have a large master suite in the same space as other folks squeezed two bedrooms. Make sure you are getting what you need in terms of sleeping adults. If you are two adults, or two adults plus kids, you'll appreciate our full, luxurious master suite!
Other things to note
**Since St. Thomas is an island, the power grid can be unpredictable at times. Power outages can occur from time to time and Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina does not have a generator. No refunds as a result of this.

Great Condo at Sapphire Beach

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this condo! It is in close walking distance to the beach and several places to eat. We loved the view and watching the boats come and go. Plenty of space, would recommend!

Great Trip!

Awesome SMALL resort. Relaxing, easy to find a spot to set up at the beach. Room was as described and property managers were excellent. Only issue we had was intermittent power loss a few times during our stay while it rained. Can’t wait to come back.

This property is perfect, nice morning view of the marina on either patios. It has modern updates in the entire place including both bathrooms. Very clean and comfortable. The stackable laundry that is available is a huge amenity. Hands down one of the nicest places on the resort!

Perfect space for 3 people. Beautifully decorated and adequately equipped. My husband and I stayed upstairs and my daughter loved having her own bed and bathroom downstairs. We enjoyed eating on the patio with a spectacular view and peaceful being a short distance away from the all the activity at the beach. Beach had great snorkeling, food, and atmosphere. Restaurants, shopping, Ferry to St. John a short drive away. This was the perfect place for us!!

App hire Beach getaway

This property was amazing. It literally has everything you need except food and drinks. They have all your beach accessories that you need. The unit was very, very clean. The view is exceptionally beautiful. Our host was very kind and helpful. There were a few choices for food and drinks which was helpful. We really liked Sudi’s. The walk to Sapphire Beach was about five minutes and it is beautiful. I will definitely return.

I would have given 5 stars, but the upstairs air would not stay cool and the bathroom didn't have window coverings. We couldn't shower at night. Other than that, we enjoyed it.

Amazing stay

My husband and I were celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary. Robert was very helpful in recommending places to eat and the place was even better in person. It was clean and the view of the marina was great. The resort was very welcoming and was peaceful. We enjoyed the Friday night party and we ended our stay for the last night with a dinner at Sea Salt. If you’re into a bit of soul food, Craving Crabs have the best Oxtails and you must visit the Mountain Top for the banana daiquiri! Just remember to keep left!!!! We were able to adjust in no time. I would definitely stay at Sea Haven again 💕💕

Wonderful stay!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The condo is comfortable and spacious for a family of 4. Great views of the marina. Very nice beach. My only recommendation is to remove the amenity that there is a hot tub. There is a very nice pool but no hot tub. Not a big deal but something we noticed. Host was also amazing. There was no blankets or pillows for the pull out couch. They delivered new ones that day. We really appreciated that!

We loved this condo, it is a great location and the views are spectacular.

This condo has everything you need, very comfortable and clean. The upstair bedroom has a balcony as well. Having two showers was nice and plenty of towels. You will not be disappointed, the pictures shown of the property are exactly what you get. Check in was easy and trouble free. Thank you Sydnee for your quick response to all inquiries. We have stayed at sapphire a few times now and much prefer the marina view to beach view. I absolutely recommend this condo, it's very modern, well equipped and spacious. I would rent again!

The Villa was nice and updated. Nice view from balcony. Comfortable bed. Had everything that you could need such as kitchen, beach towels, hair dryer even games etc. Some things were broken such as the dryer. The property owner/ manager was excellent with communication. The resort itself was under renovations and the pool was closed due to the construction which would have been nice to know ahead of time which is why I said it didn’t quite match description. The ocean was nice and they had a beach bar however the sand had trash in it and was kind of gross.

Amazing place to stay!!!

We loved every single thing about our stay! Robert was the most amazing host hands down that we have ever had and we travel a lot! He helped us in so many ways during our stay as well as before we got there. The unit was spotless and I am super picky! He had everything we could possibly need which came in handy since we couldn’t bring half the things we needed on the airplane. He had a cooler, backpack chairs, floats, snorkel masks, sunscreen, beach towels, bug spray, and so much more! The unit was a very short walk to the beach and restaurants at Sapphire Beach Resort. We loved being tucked away from the hustle & bustle of the resort and we loved being by the marina and watching all the boats coming and going. The views were also amazing from this unit and we loved having an AC unit upstairs and downstairs! We loved our week here in the USVI and we can’t wait to come back one day!

Perfection! We loved this villa!

My husband and I stayed here for one week in May 2023 and enjoyed every minute of it. The property is exactly as pictured on vrbo. It was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The views from both balconies are stunning. We loved the location. If you are familiar with the Sapphire area, it is about halfway between Sapphire beach and Sudi’s restaurant, which was perfect for us, as it was just a short walk to both. I appreciated that the owner provided beach gear including lightweight beach chairs that you can carry on your back like a backpack, and a big bag to carry beach towels (also provided). We were coming off of a one week charter on a sailboat so we were thrilled to have a spacious accommodations and a washer/dryer in unit - so convenient! The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, plates, cups and everything you should need. The king size bed was very comfortable. The owner Robert and his property managers were very responsive and helpful whenever I had any questions. We are already planning a return trip next year and hope to book the same unit.

Overall, the unit was very nice... clean, nicely decorated, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. The view of the marina was lovely, though unfortunately there was a strong smell of seaweed (like rotten eggs) near our building during our stay. This isn’t something the host can control, but it did affect the experience. The unit is a bit of a walk from the pool and beach bar, but nothing too inconvenient.The major issue we had was with the A/C. Out of the four nights we stayed, the upstairs bedroom only had working air conditioning for one night. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable to sleep, and the heat made the seaweed odor from outside seep in even more. This made it hard to relax and enjoy our time in the unit.We checked out slightly after the 10 a.m. time, around 10:15, and although the late check-out fee was waived due to the A/C issues, we felt that wasn't really adequate compensation. For the price we paid, we expected a much more comfortable stay. Being unable to sleep comfortably for 3 out of 4 nights was disappointing and impacted our overall experience.

Not much to say about me. My wife Lina and I bought this lovely St. Thomas property specifically to be a luxury vacation rental. It doesn't hurt that we can to stay there from time to time when it's not full, which actually seems to be quite rare. My wife and I love travelling, and are quite excited to have a place of our own that we can share with you!

Why they chose this property

As you look through properties on St. Thomas, you will certainly find lots of choices. Here's why we chose to buy this particular place when there were lots of other choices.

First, location, location location! Everyone on St. Thomas knows Sapphire Beach. It is truly the place to be! East-End is the happening side of the island, and Sapphire Beach is the best beach on the East End. Our villa in particular is located in truly the perfect spot. Close enough to the beach, and the beach bars and restaurants that you can stroll there in less than 2 minutes, but far enough away from the hubbub that you can get peace and quiet when you want it. I was at a Halloween party on Sapphire Beach just a few weeks back, and there was 400 people at the Sapphire Beach Bar, lots of fun! But when I was done with the fun, I took the 2-minute walk back to my villa and could sit out on my balcony overlooking the Sapphire Marina and could hear basically nothing from the craziness happening a short distance away. Perfect! People and fun and craziness when you want it, but always with the ability to get back to private peace and quiet with a quick stroll.

Looking out at the ocean from our villa, you can see St. John and the British Virgin Islands. The view from Sapphire and Sea Haven Villa really can't be beat!

Sea Haven Villa has brand new everything! Everything is neat, impeccably clean and new! Have you been in one of those VRBOs with family pictures hanging around, junk and way too many seashells? This is not that place! Have you been in a VRBO with suspiciously dark-colored towels, sheets and covers? This is not that place! Have you been in VRBOs the seem to have been appointed and decorated with family left overs from a primary residence somewhere, that has all of the appeal of a 30-year-old dorm room? This is not that place! Sea Haven Villa has been re-furbished, re-appointed and professional re-decorated from the ground up with true luxury in mind.

What makes this property unique

Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina has 2 bars, 2 restaurants (with a 3rd restaurant soon to come). Sapphire also has a coffee shop on premises with professional lattes and nice light breakfast options. Every morning my wife would stroll over to the coffee shop and come back happy! From the marina, which the property overlooks, you can catch boats to snorkeling, deep-sea fishing, Scuba diving, etc. Most boat operations will pick up and Sapphire Marina. Jet skis are for rent on the marina and there's a parasailing boat as well!

Grab a drink, set up a beach chair on a totally uncrowded beach, maybe go for a dip and try out the snorkelling from time to time, it's all good and all fun! When you feel it's time to leave the resort, the town of Red Hook is a 3-minute drive away! There you will find nice restaurants, grocery stores, bars, and the liveliest nightlife on the island! The ferry to St. John and the BVIs also leaves from Red Hook. There's a car ferry and a ferry just for people. Between Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina and Red Hook, you will want for nothing!
