Charming Cabin close to Flagstaff, Sedona & Hiking

Deck living at its best! Large deck for dining and lounging all throughout the day. At night, grab a blanket and enjoy peaceful silence while stargazing in this Dark Sky Community. A perfect getaway from the city for one or two couples, or a family. Nestled in the forest on Animal Hill within walking distance to hiking trails. Amenities include reliable WiFi, streaming services, a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a fenced in back yard. It's a great cabin for all seasons because of AC and heat.

The space
The living room, kitchen, and dining room are all in one room under rustic beams for a cozy feel.

The coffee and cocktail nook is equipped with the following: charcuterie boards, charcuterie utensils, wine opener, bottle opener, wine glasses, champagne flutes, an 18 piece bartender drink set, a Ninja Coffee and Tea Maker with a frother attachment, free provided coffee and sugar in containers next to the coffee maker, 3 different flavor of coffee syrups, large and small coffee mugs, a coffee grinder, a microwave, a retro 4-slot toaster, free dog biscuits, and a bin for extra storage of bottles or whatever needs storing, and a first aid kit in the drawer.

Please note: more specialty drink glasses and extra glasses and cups are located in the cabinets such as martini glasses, etc. Also, located in the cabinet is the tea filter that is used to make tea in the Ninja Coffee and Tea Maker. No tea is provided.

The kitchen contains the following: dishes, pots, pans, storage containers, mixing bowls, a blender, strainer, serving dishes, silverware, knives, large serving spoons, spatulas, mixing spoons, full large utensils available on the counter, a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, spice rack, drying rack, and cutting boards. More, but not listed.

Board games are located next to the coffee nook.

The living room and bedrooms have smart televisions. Device charging stations are available on all nightstands in bedrooms. TVs have a charging station and power strip to connect game consoles if needed.

The fire extinguisher is located in the pantry.

Dog Nook under the stairs contains a rug, hooks for leashes, collars, etc. A bin with tennis balls, food and water bowls, poop bags, and a leash to use if you happen to forget yours.

Guest access
The entire two story cabin is accessible to our guests, including the gated deck. Guests will be able to access the front and backyard. The back yard is fully fenced in. The garage is not accessible. There is ample parking on the property. Parking is located next to the cabin on the rock and paved driveway. In front of the deck is an extra parking space on rocks if needed. It may also be used as a yard game/play area. Bring your own yard games.

Other things to note
Our televisions are set to guest mode options for streaming through Roku. Please know your username and password so you can stream your personal profile. You will be able to continue watching what you are watching at home while away on vacation!

The WIFI Username and Password are located on a white frame next to the living room TV on a side table.

Crystal Point Hiking Trail: Located 3 minutes via car or short walk from our cabin.

Lake Odell: Located 4 minute via car or a 20 minute walk. Visitors can fish, kayak, and paddle board.

Coconino Forest: Located 3 minutes via car or short walk from our cabin. It offers defined hiking trails, mountain biking trails, trails for ATVs and dirt bikes.

Flagstaff is located about 18 minutes North of Munds Park. Flagstaff is AZ's eclectic and fun mountain town. It offers great dining, wonderful breweries, a huge trail system, the Lowell Observatory, The Snow Bowl Ski Resort and so much more.

Sedona is located around 30 minutes from Munds Park. You can enjoy wine tasting, fine-dining, the mind-blowing uniqueness of the red rocks, and many outdoor adventures. Sedona can get hot because it sits at a lower elevation than Munds Park. You can spend part of your day in Sedona and come back to enjoy the cooler weather the woods provide at our cabin.

Slide Rock Recreation Area is located about 35 minutes from Munds Park. Enjoy sliding down the natural slide and swimming with your friends and family.
