Incredible ocean views from this fourth-floor PENTHOUSE with vaulted ceilings and skylights! Professionally designed by an award-winning Interior Decorator featuring 2 stylish King bedrooms (both with full ocean and full beach views), 1 Queen bedroom, Media Room with 2 Sofas & 3 beautiful bathrooms (sleeps 8) with elevator access. Imaginative abstract-inspired mirrored ceiling (exquisitely reflecting the ocean) and welcoming decor create a remarkable ambiance. Beautiful art, comfortable and modern furnishings-pure luxury at the beach.

This villa boasts gorgeous finishes in the kitchen and baths with ample storage space. Custom floor-to-ceiling soft closure cabinetry, double ovens, a pull-out spice rack with spices provided, tray storage, and stocked with all the utensils you would have at home.
Two large primary bedrooms each with its own 42" HD TV and large compartmented closets with valet pulls for generous storage. Both primary bathrooms have marble walk-in showers with full-size built-in benches, double bowl sinks, and lots of storage. The comfortable media room has 2 sofas easily accessible to the laundry area with a sink, washer and dryer, and cabinets, all located upstairs. Downstairs is a separate queen-sized bedroom with a full adjoining bath and tub/shower combination. Also located downstairs is the walk-in pantry with shelves and cabinets for beach chairs, beach towels, and many kitchen utensils and cookware. Beach towels (8) are provided plus beach chairs (4).

Other amenities include a premier T4V channel for uninterrupted movie viewing and WIFI. The villa consists of a starter supply of soap, shampoo, conditioner, Kleenex, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry, and dishwashing detergent. There is a maximum of 2 vehicles permitted for overnight parking.
Beginning Memorial Day Weekend, May 25, 2024, through the Saturday after Labor Day, September 6, 2024, all rentals are 7 days - Saturday to Saturday.
All National Holidays: Easter Week, July 4th Week, Labor Day Week Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Week, and New Year's Week are 7 days rentals - Saturday to Saturday. I own another villa on Kiawah which is a 2 bedroom/3 bath and can be seen on VRBO. The property ID number is 790719. Also rented by maxineskiawah.

Stunning Condo and Ocean View

This is a true luxury, beautiful ocean view condo.. while we were two couples, the condo can sleep eight. If having a television is important to you (it was to us), every bedroom as well as the living area is equipped with one, most have their own private bathrooms and the one that doesn’t shares a jack and Jill. The owner, Maxine, suggests restaurants, both on and off the island, which is wonderful, especially for first-time visitors. Kiawah is a beautiful, private island. And February is, in my opinion, the perfect time to visit.

Overall this property was wonderful. Only issue we had was one of our friends was still using a walker after back and knee surgery. Even though there was an elevator there are steps coming in the entrance. I would not recommend this property, if someone was in a wheelchair.

We were a little skeptical to celebrate the holidays away from home but Maxine is an amazing host and made this trip simply one of our top favorite Christmases as a family! The villa is beautifully decorated and Maxine provides more kitchen supplies and starter supplies than we ever have! I was particularly nervous cooking Christmas dinner in a kitchen that was not mine. She simply had everything that was needed and more! The view was studying and we were pleasantly surprised to see both sunrise and sunset from her villa! Top-notch, and would definitely recommend

Kiawah vacation

Kiawah Island is so beautiful, and our condo overlooked the beautiful beach plus wildlife living in the trees along the dunes. We loved all the nature this island has. The condo is centrally located and an easy 5 minute drive to Fresh Fields for shopping. The only negative is there are about 20 stairs to get to the first floor where the elevator is so for unloading it was a bit difficult. The unit itself didn't have an elevator, which I had assumed it did but that is on me. Maxine the owner is a true delight and very concerned about your stay. She wants to make sure you have the very best experience. We have stayed in a lot of beach homes on the east, west and south, and I must say she is the best host we have ever had. Kiawah Island is a must especially if you have never been. We will be back!

Beautiful Oceanfront Escape

The villa is on the top floor of Windswept with easy access via elevator. There is a new handicap ramp as well.Upon entering the lovely foyer, your eyes are drawn immediately to the ocean view out the back windows off the dining and living areas. There is a sliding door to a small covered porch with a beautiful ocean view. We enjoyed watching the deer munching on the dunes with coffee in the morning and evening. The kitchen is as advertised.... well-stocked with everything you may need. The main floor bedroom was perfect for our teenage son. Upstairs the two master suites are prettily appointed, both with ocean views. Great bathrooms, too. There are some hidden surprises, too!The villa is centrally located in East Beach, very close to Night Heron Park and The Sanctuary. We really enjoyed morning walks amd evening bike rides along the paved paths. We ate at The Players Pub (the pretzel!), Cherrywood BBQ (nachoes!), had pizza from Tomasso (prosciutto and fig!), and several places at Freshfields and at Bohicket Marina at Seabrook. If renting bikes, reserve ahead at Alligator Bike Rentals for good prices. Island Beach Services sets up the blue umbrellas and chairs just down Boardwalk 21 and 22. (Max privides lots of chairs, so we recommend just getting umbrellas.) :) Let them do the hard work of drilling in those umbrellas!The chek in and out process could not be easier. Maxine is a wonderful hostess! We'd love to stay here again!

Beautiful decor, but needs deep cleaning

Have stayed in Windswept villas over 20 times. Condo was decorated beautifully. Stocked pretty well. Outside patio super small. I had to sweep both sand and leaves from the foyer as soon as I got there. Inside windows not clean. could write in the dust on shelves. A few dead moths in the window shelf. Dead bug in the corner. I had to go the the grocery and buy Chlorox to clean the molded washing machine before I could do laundry. I went to get a towel and washcloth out of BR cabinet and they were all significantly damp. I had to dry them. the beds had old memory foam on mattresses that was broken up. My fitted sheet was on inside out and continually came untucked. Same with the master BR. Cheap, one ply tissue paper and toilet paper. Condo did not smell good. Probably needs air filters changed. I cannot recommend for the price and will not rent again. Has a lot of potential, but I came to relax, not clean. Disappointed.

Diana, I want to sincerely apologize for the extremely slow response and I of course want to take this opportunity to express my "disappointment" also in the quality of accommodations we offered you! I have worked hard for the past 15 years to offer excellent service, a beautiful vacation home, be a host that is caring and concerned for the well-being of my guests and their vacation experience and offer an immaculately clean environment for all who visit my villas...my goal is to give guests the ultimate vacation experience that I would expect. Unfortunately, my son has been critically ill for months and was hospitalized at the end of May and my world imploded and stood still until just a few weeks ago when he received a heart transplant (I now can breathe again!) I finally have had an opportunity to "tend to business" and was SHOCKED beyond words at what I found had happened to my properties while my focus was not on Kiawah! My property manager completely let me down, he was not on top of housekeeping, maintenance or any other issues that arise for guests. When I became aware of the magnitude of the situation, I quickly dismissed that property manager and the housekeeper that he managed. I have just recently procured a new manager and she is ON TOP of my expectations and high standards that I am used to providing for my guests! Please do not think I am making excuses for what is unexcusable, I just want to make you aware of WHY you had such a disappointing experience and that I too believe that the accommodations we offered you were unacceptable!!! Please reach out to me privately, I would appreciate you giving me the opportunity to make this right! Again, I am so sorry, I too am "Disappointed".

I bought this unit the first week June of 2012. Having been a regular guest on Kiawah, I found it almost impossible to leave once here. I knew I had to have a villa on the ocean. I love fishing hiking, especially bike riding, walking the beach, reading, eating great food, the symphony, theater, music, art, and my most favorite is people--getting to know people. Kiawah has it all.

Why they chose this property

I knew that I needed a view and since Kiawah has a 4 story building restriction, I wanted to be on the top floor because the view of the ocean is so beautiful from here. Even the Sanctuary Hotel one building away is only 3 stories tall. It was important to me to not only wake up each morning looking at the ocean but also hearing it. My favorite city in the US is Charleston and Kiawah is such close proximity.

What makes this property unique

Watching the glorious Kiawah sunset from my covered balcony and having a great glass of wine with my friends and family is the stuff memories are made of. Having world class golf courses in my backyard to be relished and enjoyed as well as the first class tennis facilities. The spa at the Sanctuary has been enjoyed by my friends and family...it is rated as one of the top 5 spas in the US.
