Loved the house! The location, right next to a playground, was wonderful for my 2 yr old granddaughter. Despite the beach and playground next door, our yard seemed private enough. We used the pinball and pool table in the game room, the canoe, fire pit and grill outside. The house was clean and we had everything we needed. Everything was perfect.
Perfect location for young family with beach & playground right next to the house. The house is clean and organized with labeling where things go. Amenities excellent with canoe, paddle boards, linen delivery and more.Mike the owner responded to my communication quickly. We loved the house. Hope to go back again for another memorable family vacation!
We loved our stay! The location was the BEST!Our family included 7 adults and a 5 year-old. We LOVED being next to the playground and community beach. We had access to a canoe, paddleboards, kayaks, inflatable floats, and lots of life vests. It was a short boat ride to the pool. We enjoyed the game room and multiple decks.
I wish I could give more stars. I really do. A perfect location for a family with kids. A perfect set up for a family that would rather cook. The kitchen was fully stocked and not with cheap items. The set up on the outside couldn't be disigned better. Multiple decks. One screened in deck. The game room and extensive collection of in door activities made the one rainy day so much fun. We will be making this house a yearly trip. Thank you!
Beautiful home on the lake! It was so nice having the lake and the playground/beach right there! The boats were so fun and the pool table was a huge bonus! The house was clean with many fun things to do. For those in wheelchairs, the front door and all the downstairs bedrooms do have a little bump to go over, not a problem for us but if you are independently pushing your wheelchair it could be a challenge. Also, it was very tight getting into the bedrooms in a wheelchair. Just writing this so those booking in the future in a wheelchair know. Other than that it was very nice having the accessibility of first floor bedrooms and being able to go outback from the deck. My only complaint was that only 2 of the beds were comfortable. The rest were extra firm. Overall it was an incredible experience and arrowhead is a wonderful community.
Host was extremely attentive and a pleasure to work with. The house has a great location and was well suited for an extended family gathering. We would definitely return.
Great house - very family friendly. Had everything we needed for a 3 day stay. The hosts are wonderful and very easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back!
The house was perfect for our 4-night getaway with our 2-year-old and all her grandparents. (6 adults the toddler) The house was clean and had plenty of room for all of us and was fully stocked with kitchen ware and games etc. The host was very available for any questions we had, but really everything was self-explanatory (all of the light switches were labeled quite impressively!) The linen service was really convenient as well. The location of the house was perfect especially with the little one she loved playing with ducks right at the water and being next to the beach and playground was ideal. We did make use of the inflatable kayak and life vests provided in the boat shed which was great, too! The community itself was very nice, and we were clued into a toddler-appropriate game room in the welcome building that was great on a rainy morning. It was a very quiet weekend, which was nice for us, though I understand there is a lot more to do on the holiday weekends. We heard the music from the Island Pavilion across the lake on the Saturday evening, and it added some great ambience around our firepit! Out of the community we did do a short hike at the Austin T Blakeslee Nature preserve which was beautiful and so close (10 minute drive). Thank you to our host and we hope to return again!
We loved our stay at Stagshead! We were a party of 3 with two dogs that had visitors on multiple days, including a wheelchair-bound father and two under ten. Plenty of space to eat, play, and sleep. Kitchen was stocked well and the playground is right next door. Would stay again!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was super clean and the owner provided linen service. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to make family dinners The game room with pool table, pinball machine and numerous board games was a hit with our entire family (6-67). Check in was super simple and the owner was available to answer any questions we had. We will definitely be booking this property again!
Had a great time with my family. The house was very spacious. Plenty of bedrooms. We loved both the outdoor porch and the screened in porch. Beautiful views and lots of wildlife!
This is a great house for a family or a few families to stay and enjoy some lake life together! You can’t beat the location- right next to a park and beach, and it’s so quiet at night! We enjoyed the crisp mountain air and beautiful neighborhood. Mike, the host, was very responsive and helpful! We will definitely book this house again!
The house is exactly as described - clean, spacious, and very well maintained. We loved being right next door to the public beach area and spent plenty of time there. The house amenities also kept us busy, we played plenty of pool and went out on the kayaks, canoe, SUP daily. One of our more relaxing, family-togetherness trips ever!
Terrific location for young children. Beautiful new deck. If you have a handicapped person with you, make sure they can walk comfortably using a walker. Not a good place for wheelchair access to bathroom or bedroom. The ramp is good, but each door has a high threshold.
We stayed at this property during the winter so did not have access to pools or beaches. BUT, we still had a great getaway. We took advantage of the house amenities such as the pool table and board games as well as went snow tubing. The house is great and within a gated community which we loved. The house itself is well laid out and had plenty of the every day things you need to be comfortable. (kitchen wares, etc.). We would absolutly stay again!
We absolutely loved our stay!! The house was beautiful, spacious, clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals and feel right at home. The deck was absolutely perfect for relaxing with morning coffee or an evening cocktail. The billiard table was a hit with everyone as well, especially on a rainy day. Several in our group took advantage of the kayak, canoe and paddleboard many times during our stay. They all loved being out on the lake exploring. Mike was welcoming and answered any questions throughout our stay very fast. We would highly recommend this house to any group looking to get away and spend some time on a lake. We were sad to leave and can't wait to come back! Really awesome house!!
