Host cancelled night before our stay!

Please don’t take a chance and book this rental!!! After seeing the other reviews that mentioned the host cancelled on them too, I was nervous but took a chance. Host cancelled at 12:51 am night before we were supposed to check in. Apparently the previous guest left the place a mess. I understand things happen but if their check out time is 11am why were we notified so late? The whole thing was very inconvenient. My guest and I had to find other accommodations ourselves since the rebooking team was no help! Please look somewhere else!

Good and bad experience

The pros to this property are that it is clean and the kitchen has many appliances, and dinnerware. It is also in a great location. The cons are that there were fruit flies in every room and were mostly around the fake plants. There were no hand towels in the bathrooms, just 3/4 of a roll of paper towels. The stairs and loft carpet were not vacuumed. I received no check in or check out instructions. I contacted the property manager early in the morning of check in and was told it would be sent to us automatically and it wasn’t. When we were near the building, I contacted him again and was given instructions. I also had to ask for the wifi password which did not work. I do not believe this property fits the bill of a luxury loft. We have stayed in many VRBO properties over the years and this was not the positive experience we have typically encountered.

Disappointed

First time using VRBO. I booked the stay for me and my family. 2 hours after booked my stay was cancelled by the host. The host stated that house rules were broken. HOW? I then sent a message asking what rule was broken, no response. Host probably over booked because the last two days were still available but the first day was booked. I am very disappointed in VRBO and the host. This caused my family to adjust our whole trip.
