Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Perfect space for a couple or small family. The little store next door is very convenient and has just about everything you could need, including laundry services. Only downside was the train noise, but we were fine after popping earplugs in at night.
This is the second time we have stayed in this cabin, and we highly recommend it. The cabin itself is beautiful, comfortable, and quiet, providing a very pleasant stay. The setting is idyllic. Even though it was March, I had to drink my coffee on the porch so I could hear the birds and smell the morning freshness. The train is literally right across the road, but it fits, somehow. I must have taken a hundred pictures of the train in the mist with the trees and the mountain behind it. The little store across the road is fun and has good food. (Try the ice cream - it's delicious!) We highly recommend this stay.
What a great place! Beautiful, well built cabin, comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated. Set in a peaceful, friendly town where somehow "downtown" feels deliciously like the middle of no where. Hosts were friendly and helpful. We were just there to "crash" for the night, but it was so incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating that we will most certainly be back. Hosts had thought of everything needed to make this a comfortable and relaxing stay. Cabin is well laid out and comfortably fit our family of four adults. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone either passing through, or looking for a base for any of the many amazing outdoor adventures available in the area. The train is just across the road, but is not nearly as loud as it seems like it ought it be. I still slept like a hibernating bear. The little store is a lot of fun, and if you want some truly amazing pizza, try Silver Tip Junction a few miles down the road in Noxan. I highly recommend this cabin.
