About this property

Luxury Home In the Forest ~Outdoor Living ~Hot Tub

This absolutely stunning home will be your favorite vacation spot EVER. Backed up to State Forest land, the home is perfectly situated for an escape from the outside world. Conveniently located just two miles from a grocery store, the home offers the ease of accessing Flagstaff amenities and still enjoying an oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The Grand Canyon East Entrance (Watchtower) is a 60-minute drive, Sunset Crater and Wupatki are a 20-minute drive, and Bearizona, the Grand Canyon Railway, and the Deer Farm can be quickly accessed on the I40 for a 45-minute drive. The North Pole Express is just a 10-minute drive and downtown Flagstaff is also just a 10-minute drive from this beautiful home.

Upon entering the home you will be struck by how spacious it is. The master suite to the left of the entrance features a king-size bed, a large soaker tub in a huge bathroom and walk-in closet, a sauna, and a 2 person hot tub. Enjoy a fireplace, amazing forest views, and a television in this room. The master bedroom opens to the enormous outdoor patio with a view of the small stream in the backyard

Next to the master suite is the first guest bedroom. A queen bed, a television, a large closet, and plenty of room to enjoy an amazing vacation.

The second guest bedroom is to the right of the entrance, with a king-size bed, a fold-out queen sofa bed, a kitchenette with a wine refrigerator, a large bathroom, and a walk-in closet with some board games for the whole family. The guest bedroom also includes a television, a fireplace, and a private entrance/exit to the outdoor patio.

For even more sleeping space, there is a queen-sized fold-out sofa bed in the living room.

While the interior of the home is amazing, nothing beats the backyard. The wood fireplace will be the favorite spot for everyone. There is also a fireplace and outdoor grill/kitchen area,, a horseshoe game, and wildflowers and pine trees to keep the whole family entertained and relaxed. Shuffleboard is set up in the living room, and cooking meals will be a breeze in this fully equipped, very spacious kitchen. A dining room table awaits a special meal with friends or family and large comfortable couches in two separate living areas provide enough space for the entire group.

If the goal is to visit northern Arizona during your trip, this home is ideally situated to visit all of the surrounding areas. With easy access to Highway 89 and Interstate 40, Antelope Canyon and Page are a two-hour drive, Sedona is 90 minutes, the Oak Creek Canyon north rim (89A) is 30 minutes, Snowbowl is 30-45 minutes, and the Grand Canyon entrances are 60-90 minutes, depending on which entrance is utilized. We love to provide local recommendations for restaurants, hikes, and activities in the area, so let us know if you're looking for something specific. But honestly, you're going to want to spend as much time in this beautiful home as possible.

Absolutely no events or parties in this home, please. The home is required to comply with a 10:00 pm quiet time ordinance imposed by the county. All guests must be part of the reservation and no additional guests can be on the property for any length of time without prior approval or by being added to the reservation. It is no problem to add or remove guests as long as you are not over the maximum occupancy.

Flagstaff is a four-season environment, so be ready for snow in the winter (and build a snowman in the backyard!). The road is maintained, but the driveway is not heated, so there will be a delay if a snowstorm hits overnight until the snow removal company can come shovel in the morning. While you're in the area, enjoy all of the beautiful seasons northern Arizona has to offer. Changing leaves in the fall (go check out Lockett Meadow), the snow in the winter (Snowbowl or Fort Tuthill snowplay area), cool mountain air in the summer (highs of 85 and cool evenings) and windy, rainy springs (go visit Chocolate Falls) round out a beautiful area all year.

Deer regularly visit the backyard, so please be respectful of their space.
Pets are not welcome at this home.
Access to the garage is not available at this time, but there is plenty of parking in the large paved circle driveway.
The hot tub is serviced twice a week and the servicing may occur during your stay. The service is quick, unobtrusive and necessary for your enjoyment of the hot tub.

Don't miss this one! This will be the home you will visit year after year... this is where you will make some amazing northern AZ memories.

Flagstaff is a Dark Sky City (the first, actually!) "The City of Flagstaff and the northern Arizona region have achieved worldwide recognition for innovative leadership in the protection of dark skies." Please be conscious of the outdoor lighting you utilize during your stay. All outdoor lights should be on only while you are outside. Light pollution is very important in this area - by booking this home, you are agreeing to reduce outdoor lighting during your stay.

This home can experience inclement weather in the winter months. A guest may need to utilize an all-wheel or front-wheel drive/high clearance vehicle to access the home, depending upon recent snowfall or rainfall. All efforts possible are provided to ensure homes are easily accessible, but we still recommend that guests purchase travel insurance if there are any worries about experiencing northern Arizona winter weather.

Family Ski Trip
The home is gorgeous. It fit our family great. Had a hard time responding to the host about issues. Amazing bathroom floor heater. The water heats up quickly in the whole house. We slept 6 kids comfortably without issues. Recommendations to make it better.... The dishwasher racks were broken. The dryer does not dry clothes very well. Had to purchase a few items that they did not have for the home. The knives were not sharp to cut meat. The spare sheets did not fit the pull out beds. No sticks to make smores; highly encourage to buy some. Would recommend more seating for outside fire place for people to enjoy. Could not utilize the garage to park cars or store stuff for our family ski trip. Doors do not lock throughout house for safety purposes. That is a huge concern. Jacuzzi does not get hotter than 104.

Thanks for Thanksgiving!
Really beautiful home with all the things you need for a cozy stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the sauna and outdoor wood burning fireplace. There was a lot of space to spread out and we had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal all prepared in the magnificent kitchen. We stayed for a whole week and would recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing getaway in the pines.

Beautifully appointed, comfortable home (including bed). Back patio/fire pit location/view, very nice. Except for noise level from main road. Spa in master bedroom, not a good idea. Smell of chemicals strong and spread thru home. Opening windows as instructed, not sufficient. This should of been disclosed in property description. Pros/cons, would we go back?, do not think so.

In town for a weekend
We came into Flagstaff for the weekend to visit our son at NAU. This property was wonderful for our family to spread out. Accommodations were lovely, beds comfy, plenty of couch space, lots of goodies in the kitchen for whatever you could need. I only wish we had more time to use the hot tub and sauna. The only thing I wish there were more towels in master bath.
