Fall Getaway

We have had great summer vacations in the Hideout, but this was our first time visiting in the fall. The house was perfect for a quiet weekend away. It is very well kept and cozy.

Visiting fanily nearby for Thanksgiving

Place was just what we needed. Everyone was very comfortable including the dog. Vehicle check-in process at the main gate is always painful but that's a Hideout issue and nothing the property owners can change.

The house was dirty. There were various hairs of different colors and lengths in the bed and in the pillows from the other 2 beds. The tv remotes had crusted food on them and the tvs had greasy finger prints on the screens. There was a lighter, hair tie and melted bag of ice left behind when we arrived. The tv in the bedroom upstairs doesn’t work. The Amazon fire stick wouldn’t connect to the remote, when I checked the batteries, the compartment was corroded. The whole thing was uncomfortable with how dirty everything was.

Great house for multi-generations

Had a great 4 night stay. Property is within easy walking distance of North Beach. "Kids" liked having their own downstairs bed, bath and play area while adults gathered upstairs. Neighbors are close but back deck felt nicely secluded. Owners were most responsive to questions and suggestions for improvement.

Minimal traffic on street as it’s on a dead end. Light bulbs missing in some of the fixtures. TV in upstairs bedroom wouldn’t connect. Lighting in kitchen was dim. Dust webs along upstairs staircase very visible. Beach umbrella needs a look at. Beach chairs were really the uncomfortable tailgate kind. Driveway extremely steep.Beds were comfortable, games plentiful, neighbors very nice. Thank you for the coffee bean crusher.. we loved our coffee!!!
