About this property

A bungalow nested in a quiet walkable neighborhood with lake access and nice views of the lake from the lakeside windows. Sleep like kings and queens on cozy mattresses and pillows with bedding from Casper and Leesa. In the morning enjoy one of the provided quality coffees in a french press or tea from the tea basket. The basement contains a game room with ping pong table, rod hockey, and foosball. Other games (board games, cards, etc) are provided under first floor tv. Four kayaks and gear are provided for you to enjoy. Parking room for up to three cars and easy access to house entrance. Enjoy the local area with mountain bike trails ((DTE, Potawatami), paved trails (B2B)), hiking trails (Waterloo-Pinckney) as well as the many lakes in the area for swimming and kayaking. Or relax on the inside/outside porches and attend plays and restaurants in nearby Chelsea and Dexter. Other activities nearby include golf, disc golf, and many activities in Ann Arbor.

A fun and comfortable house for a family.

This was a great place to stay for our family of 7. The kids loved the game room in the basement. The house had everything we needed to prepare meals and sleep comfortably. A very relaxing location and a short drive to things we wanted to do in Ann Arbor and Lansing. The host was very accommodating and prompt with communicating. We would definitely stay here again!

This was one of my all time favorite places to stay. We loved the unique architecture and layout. They have thought of everything to make it a comfortable stay from the well appointed kitchen to the notebook with details on the house etc. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and the kayaks, ping pong table and other games were so much fun. We had 5 adults comfortably stay here.

Hi! My husband and I have lived in the Chelsea area for nearly 30 years and have raised our children here. We own several businesses of which this VRBO is one. I love catering to guests and providing a bungalow getaway experience.

Why they chose this property

This property is a nice getaway in that it is comfortable and sits in a neighborhood that is walkable and has a view of the lake from lake facing windows as well as provides one with lake access at the 'island'. The local swan families at the lake also enjoy seeing visitors (but from a distance). If the weather is right and the water is welcoming you can enjoy the four kayaks we have for guest use. The fall is a wonderful time to enjoy the lake in kayaks.

What makes this property unique

Guests will have the opportunity for an owner driven two hour lake experience on a new Harris pontoon boat with 60hp engine. This must be arranged before the booking dates.
