The Space:
Casa del Arpa, designed by Jack Meiselman, features an expansive view of the San Jacinto Mountains in a resort-style setup. The front and back yards are fully hedged & gated for privacy. You will be welcomed with a fabulous pool, spa, and a monumental rainfall frame that represents a Harp featured in a Water Curtain. Alfresco dining for up to 10 guests & a full outdoor kitchen along with its refreshment center. 2 Firepit lounges. A resort-Style outdoor shower. Bocce ball & 6-hole Green Putting for Golf Lovers. This property is livable luxury - perfectly suited for relaxing in the Palm Springs sunshine!
LIVING AREA:
Curl up on the mid-century modern leather sofa or one of the mid-century armchairs. A 70" LED Smart TV with built-in live streaming apps allows for endless streaming possibilities. A fireplace provides warmth on chilly desert evenings and adds to the warm ambiance.
KITCHEN & DINING:
Enjoy cooking in the well-equipped modern kitchen, offering updated Samsung Smart appliances, including refrigerator, gas range and dishwasher. The center island provides plenty of prep space. A designer dining table allows for the groups to enjoy meals together while taking in the views of the beautiful pool water feature and mountains. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything a chef would need to prepare delicious meals and also provides ample storage for groceries.
BEDROOMS & BATHS:
This home includes 4 bedrooms, 2 of which have their own ensuite bathrooms. Per city ordinances, each bedroom sleeps 2, for a maximum occupancy of 8. The showers are equipped with complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
All bedrooms have direct & private access to the expansive green putting backyard with mature mango tree.
The large primary bedroom is light filled thanks to the clerestory windows & large slider doors facing the pool side with mountain views. A California king sized bed, an accent chair and a sofa table. The 43" LED Smart TV completes the space. The en-suite master bathroom features a large walk-in shower, dual sinks, soaking tub and designer wallpaper.
The second bedroom features a king-sized bed, mid-century accent wall, a 50" LED Smart TV and a closet.
The third bedroom features two twin beds and a complete mid-centry vibe.
The fourth bedroom has a Queen-Size bed. Like the rest of the bedrooms, it has its own separate entrance from the backyard area that creates a guest suite complete with its own bathroom & walk-in shower.
GAMEROOM:
The Air-conditioned garage has been turned to a game room. From Foosball to Pac-Man Arcade, this mancave will be the fun spot where friends or family will gather to watch a movie or play a game!
OUTDOOR AREAS:
Take in breathtaking mountain views from all around the backyard, where you’ll also find the private swimming pool with hot tub, 2 fire pits, outdoor kitchen, bocce ball court, and outdoor shower. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front patio. An outdoor dining table provides seating for eight. Additional lounge sitting areas are provided next to the pool (4 outdoor loungers), around the fire pit, as well as another 4 outdoor loungers near the bocce ball court, so you can enjoy a beverage and watch a game, or simply take in the stunning views of the San Jacinto Mountains.
Pool heating, if requested, is an additional $85 per day, and is recommended November-April. Please inquire as to current pool temperatures.
Enjoy cooking outdoors in the luxury designer outdoor kitchen, complete with state-of-the-art Mont-Alpi SS BBQ grill, side burner, Sink, fridge and refreshment center, perfect for keeping your drinks cool in the hot summer months.

THE LOCATION
The property is just 3 minutes from the Palm Springs International Airport and 8 minutes from downtown Palm Springs. This beautiful Mid-Century Modern home offers a convenient location close to dining, pool clubs, nightlife, hiking trails and shopping, while providing highly desired peace for your enjoyment. 2 Mins to Demuth Park, the City’s largest park at 61-acres – is home to the Demuth Park Community Center, which features a fitness facility and offers dance, yoga, gymnastics and Karate classes. There is a full basketball court, and meeting spaces with a kitchen and community garden plots that can be rented.

The Neighborhood:
This beautiful Mid-Century Modern home offers a convenient location close to dining, pool clubs, nightlife, hiking trails and shopping, while providing highly desired peace for your enjoyment.
It is conveniently located near Demuth Park, the city’s largest public park and features full basketball courts, tennis courts, 12 pickleball courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, bike paths and rolling hills full of green open space.
The neighborhood includes local favorite Chef Tanya’s Kitchen known for their all-vegetarian menu and is close to three golf courses (Mesquite Golf & Country Club, Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort and Cathedral Canyon Golf Club) with nearby Palm Canyon Drive that leads to neighboring Coachella Valley cities.
Downtown Palm Springs is a short drive (7 mins), with restaurants/shops just a few minutes away.
The neighborhood is south of the airport. Planes can be heard from time to time but are not too obtrusive when inside the home.
Getting Around:
Palm Springs is charmingly small, so everywhere is quick and easy to access! We're just 2 minutes from the airport, and 7 mins to downtown Palm Springs. Uber and Lyft are reliable and fast if you opt for a night on the town. An extensive guidebook in the house will let you know about tons of great restaurants, bars, hiking trails, and museums, as well as beautiful day trips to explore around the Coachella Valley.
Other Things to Note:
Please read the house rules carefully and share them with all booked guests. The City of Palm Springs prohibits amplified noise (including music) outdoors at all times. Violations of the PS Noise Ordinance can result in a $500 citation, and three citations result in a revocation of our short-term vacation rental permit. While we do not make these rules, we do enforce them, so we appreciate your adherence, which will allow others to continue to enjoy Casa del Arpa!
** The Airport is 3 mins away, and just like almost anywhere in Palm Springs, you will hear some of the airplane's take-off / Landing during your stay.
*** Swimming Pool Heating fee is NOT included in the price. Pool heating is optional with an extra fee - $85.00 per day, $510.00 per week. Pools are heated to a Max of 86 F degrees (80-86 is normal)
**** Swimming Pool Heater Hours are 8.00 AM - 6.00 PM. Jacuzzi can be requested up to 11.00 PM. Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi Pumps WILL NOT be turned on past the aforesaid hours.
