Silverton Guest Cottage in the country

Guest cottage located 15 minutes from Historic downtown Silverton, 10 minutes from Silverton Reservoir and 20 minutes from Silver Falls State park. Master bedroom with Queen size bed, upstairs loft with 2 extra long twin beds, and twin size daybed in living room with twin trundle. Kitchenette has microwave, toaster, coffee maker, suitable for breakfast and heating up food. Full size fridge. Minimum stay 2 nights, Maximum stay 4 nights. This is a private guest cottage separate from our residence. Experience a taste of county life with Dogs, Cats, Alpacas, Goats, Turkeys & Chickens on our 9 acre's. Note for guests: While we are not “ off the grid”, we can and do loose power, have sketchy cell service and problems with * Wi. The downstairs is heated and cooled by a new mini split and will sleep 4 guests comfortably. There is a window air conditioner in the loft upstairs, but on hot days it still gets very stuffy and warm. We are in the COUNTRY, bugs and critters live here. We do not use Herbicides or Insecticides as we are a home to Bees. We our best to keep unwelcome visitors at bay, but sometimes they drop in uninvited. For guests who have allergies- we do have cats and dogs- and seasonally there is field buring in the area. PLEASE read the welcome email from VRBO that you will receive prior to your stay. It will have detailed directions and contact numbers, the property can be challenging to find.
*We have been having major issues with Wi-fi, so while there is a booster in the guest house we can’t guarantee you Wi-fi, thus we have removed it from amenities.

This property is absolutely stunning. The hosts are incredibly nice and friendly. Its a very short drive to Silver Falls State Park, which we hiked and was NOT disappointed with its beauty. I highly recommend this place! Plus they have cute farm animals, which we enjoyed. We will be back to this property next time we come back that way!

Great stay in the country

Set up was great for a group. Lots of space to spread out. Loved the tea and board games. They have goats and alpacas/lamas, which are very friendly. Easy parking in front. Wish we had better weather to explore the outdoors more, but a very nice place and would stay again.

Overall, a nice stay in Silverton. Mavis was very responsive to our needs, and checked in regularly to make sure we were comfortable. Would recommend this property as a good rural location wirh close proximity to Silver Falls State Park.

Beautiful little farm with guest house. Owners are very friendly and non-invasive. Property is extremely close to Silver Falls for hiking and also extremely close to Silverton, which is a cute little town to walk through for coffee, antiques, and meals. read all of the information about Wi-Fi and come prepared with some downloaded movies on your computer. lots of books and games to choose from and weather permitting outside areas to sit and enjoy a lot of nature! would definitely stay out again without hesitation, very comfortable and cozy! try OSO for dinner-excellent food and staff.

Beautiful welcoming home

This was a beautiful home very clean and friendly hosts. We came up for Silver falls national park and it was just 10 minutes down the road which was great after the 7 mile hike. Definitely recommend.

We loved staying on this property for our short weekend. We wished we could have stayed longer. Mavis and Dan are super nice people and the guest cottage is delightful! We loved visiting and giving snacks to the alpacas and goats. Even the rooster was a warm welcome each morning! Definitely will stay here again if we are ever in Silverton!

Wonderful retreat

We stayed for a wedding at silver falls and it was the perfect distance. The owner was so kind and thoughtful with the amenities. It was a very peaceful place to spend a few days. Would highly recommend.

Artistic home on a small farm

This cozy bungalow is artistically decked out throughout! If you are looking for a pristine uncluttered space, this is not for you. If you are enamored by interesting use of objects and space (like me), you will be enchanted. There are resident alpacas, goats and chickens with polite rooster as well. Would stay there again!

Hiked Ten Falls Trail at Silver Falls State Park - Perfect Place to Stay

We've stayed in some tight tiny homes, and this is not a tiny home! It's spacious with lots of places to sleep and the ability to standup in the loft which was a bonus! The hosts are friendly and gracious. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. It was a great location for exploring the nearby Silver Falls State Park.

Rented for a girls weekend. We all felt welcomed & right at home from the sweetest owners that are on site. Such a relaxing property and home. We have decided it's a wonderful property for our girls trips and are excited to come back.
