2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage with open concept living room, kitchen, porch. sleeps 7. relax on the porch and enjoy the peaceful pond. very short walk to public beach which is never beach is great for kids as it's sandy and not too deep until you walk out further. public launch very close. great yard for lawn games and fire pit for evening camp fires. completely stocked- bedding, towels, dishes, cooking utensils, washer & dryer. We do not have access to docking space. Further information about boat access available on request.

Amazing stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cottage. Communication with the owners was excellent. The location is perfect, offering beautiful views and easy access to the lake. The cottage itself was cozy and well-equipped, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. It's an ideal spot for a family getaway, and we look forward to returning!

The place was pretty much what the pictures show online. The owners are friendly and answer questions right away. The neihborhood is very nice and freindly. Would like ti stay again.

Comfortable home close to great lake access

The house was very comfortable and well supplied for all of our needs including cleaning products and a washer and dryer. It was only about a 1 block walk to the public beach and they had boogy boards and beach towels for use. They also had a nice fire pit and wood supplied.

Great place to relax

We stayed here the weekend of Labor Day 2023. The place was perfect size for 2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 dogs. Close to the boat launch. Was hot weekend and the wall AC kept the temperature in the place nice and cool. Any questions were quickly answered by the host. Great communication. Would recommend staying here to anyone and we plan on staying here next year.

Lovely, cozy Autumn retreat!

Very pleasant stay! We really enjoyed our fall weekend at this cozy, clean, modern cabin. Decorated quite cute too! Full kitchen, four seasons porch, 2 nice sized bedrooms, and comfortable open concept living/dining/kitchen space. Our hosts were quick to respond to all my text messages. They were very helpful and pleasant too! Very convenient location (close) access to lake, and other amenities. Rileys pub .5 mile away! Highly recommend this property!

Cottage on the Pond

Had a great time, the lake is beautiful. Looks to be an all purpose lake; great for fishing, boating and swimming. The cottage is close to the lake and to the Dodge park. The facilities at the park and the boat launch are excellent. The town of Green Lake is quant and worth spending time in and the Little Corporal is terrific for breakfast. All together this is a perfect place for family time. The Cottage on the Pond was perfect, close to the lake and park. It had everything one needs to enjoy themselves. A place to visit again.

Cute, cozy and comfortable

This long weekend getaway just before start of school was enjoyed equally by Grandma, Mom and 2 teenage girls. We found cottage to be clean, welcoming and very comfortable for all of us with abundance of items for use and enjoyment that are not normally included in a rental. Beds were very comfortable, and neighborhood quiet but friendly this time of year. Location is a bit far from "downtown" Green Lake activities (Kayaking, paddleboarding), and from grocery stores or other conveniences, but printout from owners advised this and gave directions, though we also used GPS to find needed services. The serene pond outside of cottage gave it even more of an "up north" experience and the yard provided room for outdoor games and barbeques. Nice TV was included with many available games and movies , but the VCR somehow would not show the movies properly. Luckily, my daughter brought their DVD player and movies, but had to reconnect many of the cords to allow us to play them, then remove and reconnect TV for normal use. Overall, we were very pleased with the cottage, amenities and price. We did notice that another reviewer suggested some outside maintainance, like power washing exterior. This might be done at end of a rental season, but would increase the outside appearance noticeably. The girls asked if this could be a yearly activity, so when we review the 2016 calendar for start of school and other activities, this will be high on our list of destinations.

Nice place, great location

This property is spacious, clean and well-stocked. It's in a really nice and quiet neighborhood. We went for a long walk one morning and looked at the houses and lake. We wish we could have figured out how to get local channels on the tv (we knew there was no cable), as we like to watch a little tv before bed. Queen sized bed was comfy. The other bedroom has a bunk bed and a trundle bed (we just stored luggage in there) and a washer and dryer (didn't use). The toilet is low and a bit tilty - just a heads up. We wish we could have had one more day!! We look forward to staying again.

Cottage on the Pond

This is our third stay at this property. It is a sweet cottage with whatever you need for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. The owners are extremely nice and very easy to communicate with! We hope to be back next Spring for another concert at the Thrasher

quiet weekend

Area was nice, very quiet. The owner's instructions, including keycode, were NOTposted on the Vrbo app. Fortunately my cousin is very tech savvy and managed to find the owners cell number. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with linens and kitchen basics.Overall the experience was good, but it took us nearly an hour to access the cottage.

The cottage was adequate for what we needed

Could have been cleaner. Had urine smell and stains throughout carpet. It would be best to replace with vinyl flooring. Blinds were filthy and some didn’t work. Otherwise it was a good experience.

We bought our Green Lake duplex in 1993. We've enjoyed many years of fun with our children. Now that they're on their own we would love other families to experience the same fun times.

Why they chose this property

Enjoy the peace and beauty of the pond while being just across the street from beautiful Green Lake. Lots of room outside for the kids to roam. Easy walk to the beach. Public launch nearby, plenty of room to keep your boat on the side lawn.

What makes this property unique

Beautiful serene view of well kept pond - our neighbors own it and keep it circulated so it doesn't get stagnant. Big Green lake is across the street and public beach is short walk. Public launch is minutes away. Enjoy Princeton, Green Lake and other nearby towns for antiques and Saturday flea market may-oct. While we have cable tv and internet, the cottage is a great place to get away from everything and enjoy peace and quiet. Beautiful in the fall and spring and winter too!
