Very comfortable and quiet place to stay! Everything you could need in the kitchen. Wonderful patio! Very clean on arrival. Comfortable furniture, comfortable beds, large table and an additional kitchenette table. Highly recommmend this location!

Great place

Amazing place with great hospitality. The place includes everything you may think you need including kitchen essentials to even entertainment. Lots of games to keep the family busy and even kayaks were included. Take a rest near the fire pit with calming atmosphere. Would recommend to all my family and friends.

Relaxing, well-appointed getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Puckaway Place. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there were thoughtful touches everywhere. The owners dropped off firewood for us to use, had kayaks and life preservers for us to use in the water, and the air hockey and foosball tables got lots of use. There were even grilling tools to use with the gas grill, and a nice outdoor living room on the deck. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had, and we felt very welcome. One pro tip, the grocery store is a little ways away since this house is nestled so beautifully among the nature preserves, so you’ll probably want to make sure to plan your shopping ahead of time to maximize your relaxing time at this quiet location. We highly recommend staying here.

House interior is very nice, almost better than the pictures. Seems to be otherwise unkept. There were Plumbing issues during our stay that they said would be repaired after we left. They advertise a washer/dryer but they don't actually have them. Master bathroom door won't shut, towel hooks aren't into wood so they're falling off the wall.Exterior was a mess. Old rags left along the sidewalk, weeds growing amongst the entire firepit surround, firewood stacked in tall grass, weeds growing up through the deck stairs, weeds growing up through the dock, im talking to the point that you need to check yourself for ticks. It was mowed before we arrived but must have been a while ago because you could graze horses off of the huge clippings.The coy pond was actually just stagnant mosquito water with interior grade wire ran outdoors . The canal is so mossy that you cannot drop a worm in to fish from the dock. Forget kayacking unless you want to paddle moss into your hair with every stride. Not what you'd expect when paying for a place.
