Generally had a lovely stay and the home was cute and comfortable. Beds and linens were very nice. Property listing was a bit confusing/inconsistent in listing as a 2 or 3 BR. Third sleeping area is in an outbuilding without a bathroom. Some dishes needed to be washed/rinsed, and the outdoor area needed a little cleanup to enjoy easily. Just needed a little seasonal freshen up, but otherwise the space was nice and we enjoyed our time.

From the moment you walk in you can see and feel the love that went in to make your stay memorable. Everything and I mean everything top of the line. You need to bring only your food. It was more than a stay it was an experience. The spice draw was amazing and so unexpected. Guerneville is another experience all to itself. Ocean sunsets a short drive away. I will definitely be back again and again. I’m not good with writing how I feel so should you’d like to contact me I’d be happy to talk with anyone. Rental service knows how to get in touch with me. Remember you need bring nothing but yourselves and food.

Clean rooms, amazing property, close to the areas we were visiting. We will come back next year. Only recommendation and if I missed it I apologize but a big push broom to clear off the steps, patio and hot tub area. We tried our best to keep the home clean and leaves, debris out of the hot tub but a garage style push broom would hwv helped. Again if I missed it my bad. Can't wait to come back next year!!!

Heart Of The River really has it all! I truly couldn't have enjoyed my stay any more — the property is gorgeous, well stocked with everything one might need, and the management overseeing the rental were professional, kind, and readily available whenever I had a question or needed something. I had a relaxing and restorative getaway, and absolutely plan to be back.

Super dusty, ants everywhere along with cobwebs as soon as you enter. Would not recommend or come back.

We are sorry that we did not get the 5 star experience that this house has kept for the last years we have had it. The house gets cleaned right after renters depart along with getting checked by an inspector. As for the cobwebs they can be built over night and ants are something that any house can occasionally get when it rains heavily. We really enjoyed this rental! The house was very well stocked, the beds were comfortable, the hot tub was great, and the location was perfect for our day trips into Jenner. Such a nice yard too! Definitely would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in this area!

Family Thanksgiving in the Redwoods

This property was very beautiful, comfortable and well-appointed for our family Thanksgiving. Many thoughtful touches made it even better, like a turkey roasting pan and baster waiting on the countertop. Everything was just perfect. Beautiful setting. The home was very relaxing with lots of seating areas to read. Loved the way the early morning sun filtered through the living room windows. The home had everything we needed to enjoy our short get away. We would reserve again when coming back to the River.

Beautifully decorated property

A quaint, cute, well decorated property. The hot tub and yoga studio were a big bonus, and well utilized. The bedrooms were a little small (no room for suitcases) and the beds were a little hard for our taste, but overall it was a wonderful property.

Wonderful stay, tween loved the casita

Everything about this rental was charming, and our tween loved having the casita to themselves for independence. We saw California quails hanging out in the little courtyard, and lots of hummingbirds. It was really nice having the dedicated off-street parking spot too. We had some plumbing issues (a major leak) in the kitchen and prop mgr was responsive and timely to address, though we were left with a mess to clean up. We'd definitely stay here again nevertheless. Quiet and relaxing.

Cozy river home perfect a weekend getaway

My family of 5 (3 young kids) and I stayed here for Xmas weekend and it was a great getaway. We had everything we needed, were comfortable and loved the quiet serene neighborhood setting in the woods near the river. There were a couple small things that needed improving but overall a great rental, even with a hot tub and separated guest house that my kids enjoyed. We would come back!

We absolutely loved this property! The kitchen has everything you need to make great meals. The black out shades in the bedrooms are wonderful. We slept so well! Everything in the house is in perfect working order. Pac Man and ping pong were fun. Love the jacuzzi and outdoor seating area. We would 100% stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property and location surpassed our expectations. There is not a thing we would change.
