Beautiful lodge surrounded by nearly 40 acres of timber with hiking trails and a pond. Enjoy the amazing sunsets on our wrap around porch. Sit out by the fire under the stars roasting marshmallows The kids are sure to enjoy the fresh air.
Enjoy our game room and spending time with your loved ones. Put a puzzle together or play a board game.
Enjoy our (2) spacious kitchens for cooking, baking or grab takeout from historic downtown Washington Town Square restaurants.
If you feel up for a scenic drive, visit beautiful Mount Pleasant, where Old Threshers is held every year at the end of August, beginning of September. Visit our Swinging Bridge in Colombus Junction or take a drive to Iowa City/Coralville (home of the Hawkeyes) and enjoy shopping, at Coral Ridge Mall. Short drive to Riverside Casino, Event Center and Golf Resort.
Sleep soundly on our luxurious bedding and upgraded pillows. Cozy up in front of the fireplace with a good book and shut the world out if you so choose.
Enjoy a walk through the trees and enjoy God's beauty. It's a wonderful place to decompress.

All bedding must be gathered and put in bathroom at the end of your stay. No food allowed to be left behind. All garbages to be taken to outside cans

The cabin was a great get away place. The ground host was a wealth of knowledge and great to talk with. The cause the cabin is representing is amazing. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back agian.

It is a quiet location and a great space for all of us!! There are plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, living room and kitchen areas. The only thing that could have made it better was some type of bug repellent, either spraying the yard or candles/torches to help with the mosquitoes!

We didn't realize that this home was built for veterans... a place for them to unwind, hunt, fish, and to enjoy their families and each other. The setting is beautiful with wide open space, a pond, walking areas, and is very tranquil. The home has two living areas and kitchens - perfect for large families - but very simple... almost humbling, knowing its true purpose. We (eight 61-69 yo siblings & spouses) definitely enjoyed our stay!

We had an awesome stay in this lodge! This was perfect for our large group with two living areas and plenty of room to spread out. Would have loved to have some carpet or a big comfy couch for more of the warm cabin feel, but it wasn’t necessary for our group and the grounds/space is awesome!

Great location for a peaceful weekend away

Our group of friends had a great stay. Very nice location on a quiet road adjacent to a county park. The fire pit in a clearing in the woods is so nice. Ample space for sleeping and gathering, and 5 full bathrooms is a huge plus. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at this beautiful, outdoorsy cabin with our family. The openness of the space paired with the cozy fires made it the perfect place to relax, connect, and truly enjoy the season. One thing that stood out and meant a great deal to us was the thoughtful honoring of our military—it was deeply appreciated and did not go unnoticed. We loved exploring the trails and being surrounded by nature while still feeling completely at home. Family vacay
