Wonderful experience. Coming back to the same apartment when next time in San Francisco.
My husband and I stayed at the property for 33 nights, in the months of Jan and Feb. The apartment is beautiful and extremely pleasant, with a lot of light. The lower level comprises a living room, working space, kitchen and a guest toilet. On the upper level (gallery) there is a bedroom, with a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. A lot of space and character. We truly enjoyed the apartment. It is fully equipped, with heaters and coolers, fully equipped kitchen (we cook a lot at home), and all the rest needed to feel like at home. It is on the 2nd floor (3rd by American standards), so there are some stairs to climb for those who carry a lot of luggage. But there is no apartment in San Francisco that does not have stairs :-)
The location is perfect for those who, in addition to being in the city center, also want to be able to reach surrounding areas very fast and without much traffic. The exit to the highway is few blocks from the house. Hugely convenient!
The apartment is located between the 5th and the 6th St, and you can be on Market Street in just few minutes on foot. And Whole Foods is very close, as well as a wonderful coffee shop - just at the corner with the 4th street.
Closed parking space (garage) is available with the booking and that is such an important thing for longer stays if one has a car. Parking in San Francisco can be a problem and with this we were totally relaxed.
Last but not least, a few words about our host, David. He is the most helpful host one can have - everything went so smooth, and in the first days of our stay David ensured he ordered additional things we needed, like additional heaters (we got there during the 10-day long storm), ironing board, coffee capsules, etc etc. He also extended our checkout time to accomodate us on the day of departure. Thank you David for such a wonderful experience!
