Within 1-2 miles from public boat ramps for Lakes LBJ, Marble Falls, and Horseshoe Bay, hiking trails nearby, and lots of lovely wildlife. Relax in this 2 bdrm/ 2 bath 1800 sq ft 2-story custom home in Cottonwood Shores. Well-equipped kitchen, dining room. Private upper deck for viewing wildlife. TV and Roku/WiFi to use with your own streaming accounts. Parking for 2-3 vehicles plus your boat or trailer for your kayak, etc. Enjoy our peaceful home in the Highland Lakes area of the Texas hill country.

A/C and HEAT has a comfortable pre-set range for efficient performance. Feel free to adjust the temperature within this range.

PETS: Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome (one-time pet fee $40) Caged pets must have pre-approval. UNABLE TO HOST CATS as it causes problems for guests with allergies. ALL PETS MUST BE CRATED IF YOU LEAVE THEM ALONE. We supply 1 large crate for your use.

Please consider the extra cleaning involved when more than 2 people or when pets are present and add them to your reservation accordingly. (no charge for service animals but please inform us if you're bringing one so we don't assume you're sneaking a pet in). Please use the pet bedding supplied when your pet is on our furniture.

Host residence is on the property, with no shared spaces between guests and hosts. We're available if there's anything urgent but respectful of your privacy and space - we'll likely not be around much during your stay.

What We Like About Cottonwood Shores: We've lived here for over 15 yrs and enjoy our down-to-earth community on the lake. We've found it to be quiet, friendly and safe - and especially enjoy the wildlife here. The deer, foxes and variety of wild birds are a delight.
Within a mile there are 2 public parks on the lake and a boat ramp with lake access. Good restaurants nearby and an outdoor Fresh Air & Food Park (food vendors open thur-sun) with pickleball court, food court and bar, music venue and 3-story sunset deck.

If you're looking for a relaxing place to unwind, re-connect with friends and loved ones, enjoy the tourist attractions, see the hill country, looking for a quiet place to rest or work from home, BBQ, go for walks.. this is the place for you.
If you need a place where you can turn your music WAY up, whoop, holler, dance, etc, we get that.. but this won't be a good fit for you. Thanks!
