The Bluffs at the Old Swiss Village rests atop the highest point of the 28 mile marker. Unobstructed lake views that stretch for miles plus nightly sunset views and fireworks on holidays. With a home large enough to host 12 people, plus the optional guest house (rented separately), there is more than enough space to spend time with the family or gather multiple families & friends. The 6 acres has multiple tiers of outdoor space for fun in the sun, outdoor dining and taking in a sunset.

The Space:
The property has 1 King Bedroom, 2 Queens, 1 bunk room and a sofabed. Guest House available for larger groups. Full kitchen, indoor & outdoor cooking and dining.

Interaction with Guests:
We live locally and are available if needed. Our preferred method of contact is via VRBO messaging. We are always happy to assist our guests!

A Hidden Gem A perfect weekend getaway location with spectacular views of the lake just right from the front door/patio. The house was very clean, well-organized, spacious with comfy beds and couches and had everything we needed. The kitchen is well-equipped with all essentials (lots of dishes, cups, bowls, flatware, pots, and pans). Patio gas grill was an added advantage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had an amazing time at this property. We look forward to coming back next summer.

I grew up at the Lake and still call it home as often as possible! We have family in the neighborhood and we work together to ensure the guest experience is a great one!

When we are not hosting you will find us Surfing the shorelines of the lake or hiking the trails of nearby state parks. Spending time outdoors and travelling with the family are top priority!

Why they chose this property

The Old Swiss Village is one of the first Resorts built at the Lake. Established in 1930 there is a lot of history and charm surrounding our neighborhood. The original Lodge is now the Steak House and the Clubhouse is a Wine Bar, both within walking distance!

This home was the guest house to the caretaker and has been updated to today's standards

What makes this property unique

The views from our area are amazing with 5 mile views both North and West. Watch the Sunsets every night, fireworks on Holidays and storms brewing as they move down the lake! Being up on the Bluffs, we see the Fall Colors, Summer Sunsets and Eagles flying overhead. Be sure to welcome the friendly deer population as well!
