If you are looking for relaxing vacation in a tranquil away-from-it-all setting then this is the place for you, our cottages are situated in over an acre of tropical gardens with stunning views of the Caribbean sea, and wonderful sunset vistas.
The West Garden Cottage offers a larger double bed, parking next to the cottage and beautiful sunset views.

Our eco-friendly cottages are a simple layout home from home with open plan bedroom/kitchen, separate shower room and outside terraced seating area.
The perfect base for exploring Nevis.
With the year round cool breezes thanks to the elevation when you will find other areas of the Island just too hot to enjoy!

We have 1.2 acres of garden which is yours to enjoy.
You will find seats/chairs in the garden and we also have beach chairs for you to use.

Explore the kitchen garden with fresh herbs for you to help yourself to and, depending on the time of year we will also have passion fruit, pumpkin, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and squash!

We are available to assist with any questions, directions, useful hints and tips and recommendations for things to do on the Island.

Amazing Place

We stayed at this property for three weeks. Brett Williams was our host and incredibly helpful arranging transport to and from Nevis. Also a rental car ( necessary) when we got there. The cottage has a magnificent view of the Carribbean in the distance and is high enough up to take advantage of the constant breezes. We are both in our 70's and did just fine. The cottage covers the basic necessities. Comfy bed, linens, shower and adequate kitchen. Most all time is spent outdoors enjoying Nevis. Also Brett arranged sailing excursions on his 47 foot boat. So great!

Would not recommend at all

We ended up leaving this place after about ten minutes on the property and stayed at an awesome pet friendly hotel right around the corner for basically the same price (less than $20 more). This new place had wifi, a larger room, free breakfast, a front desk manager, and a pool. Why did we leave so soon? - The meeting place was a pdf with minimal reference points. So unless you have a taxi driver, it is difficult to find. It was difficult for us. We had to ask a local for their phone so we could ask for better directions. - The road to the cottage had numerous potholes that were significantly deep and could have easily damaged our car if we did not have a Honda CR-V. - It is described as an eco-friendly place, but that basically means the lights are literally powered by a car battery. I am curious if this set up is a fire hazard and I know it would not be up to code in the USA. We were also told the battery could run out if we used the lights too much. - When we arrived, we were told there was no wifi. That meant we had no way of contacting the owner of the property or the numerous people we had to talk to the day before our wedding. If it weren`t for the other hotel, our wedding could have easily been ruined. - I would not recommend staying here at all. Especially for the price. There are WAY better options available for cheaper prices.

Never good to read a bad review. I'm sorry that Nathan you were unimpressed with my cottage. It is good to be able to respond. It's difficult to compare a private residence to a hotel, but I'm pleased they offered you such a good deal. I agree communications were poor it may not have helped me being in UK expecting my Gardener to introduce you to the cottage. Innisfree & Cottages can be easily found on google earth. Guests from abroad arriving on Nevis are met by myself or the people they hire cars from. Over the summer the road may suffer from erosion from storms during hurricane season, they get repaired, I can only imagine that the properties in the area were not being occupied during summer and lockdown, the road would have been neglected. Having said that we always recommend a 4x4 for island driving. The lights are powered by a car battery which is powered by the Sun there is a small 110V Trickle charger in case of dull days. The cottage also harvests its own rainwater with a 12V pressure pump also powered by the battery & sun. The cottage also has government 110V for bedside lamps. Having the backup of power and water helps in the event of any cuts in service and avoid inconvenience. The battery is located on a concrete surface of the bathroom ceiling and is hard-wired to a smart solar charge controller and trickle charger, both are set to avoid overcharging and only produce between 2 and 8 amps depending on the sun. They have been offering a reliable service for over 10yrs keeping guests in light during power cuts and stormy weather. Turning lights out just makes sense to conserve power, most people understand this. It was unfortunate about the wi-fi wasn't working on arrival, If you had just waited a little longer than 10 minutes you would have found it working. Devin was able to what's app. me I explained he needed to switch the signal booster on. when the home and cottages are unoccupied for any time all sensitive electrical items are disconnected to avoid power surges or lightning strikes. I'm sure the day before your wedding not having possible contact with friends and family would have been stressful. I believe 10 years of top reviews reflect correctly on the cottage. I hope the wedding went well and that you enjoyed your alternative accommodation the night before your big day.

Fantasic Experience

The villa was exactly as described. The location is perfect, very private, and safe. The owner Brett was quick to response before I made the reservation. Once we arrived, he couldn't be more hospitable and supportive. Our stay was so enjoyable. I highly recommend it to others to come visit this beautiful island and stay at this lovely cottage.

Great time on Nevis

The cottage is in a secluded area set in private beautiful gardens. It is small but comfortable and besides you will spend most of your time outdoors on the lovely veranda overlooking the sea. The bed was very comfortable. The location was ideal with easy access to car hire, supermarkets, bakery and fuel station. The Hermitage and Montpellier Plantation Hotels are only minutes away and offer great restaurants. The Botanical Gardens are also just down the road. The beach is also close at hand. The owner is Brett Williams who was really helpful. He organised our hire car and brought it to the water taxi as we arrived. He organised our transport for departure. The cottage and Brett's knowledge and assistance all come, comparatively, at great value. Highly recommended - we would certainly stay again.

Fantastic cottage for Nevis vacation

The cottage is very close to town and 2 well stocked groceries. It is just the right size for 2 people...cozy. It is very clean and opening the shutters allows for the seemingly constant breeze to flow through. The kitchen is stocked with the necessities for simple meals. There is a lovely porch with table and chairs, which we used for our afternoon cocktails after a day out on the island. We often got to see goats and vervet monkeys outside (we could hear the donkeys, but never saw them near the cottage). This cottage is a great value and I would highly recommend.

Peaceful and relaxing

Wonderful, peaceful property. Adorable cottage had everything you need. Beautiful view of ocean. We chose to hire taxi for transportation but a car rental would be ideal if we stayed longer. Will definitely stay again when we return to Nevis.

Very good value and clean

The owners were great, responsive, and helpful. The place was clean. It had a nice view and the island is the right size to get anywhere in a short time. Many nice beaches and great food everywhere. The locals are very nice. Been to many islands and Nevis beaches are not even close to crowded and same with restaurants - such a relaxing island.

Best guest house I’ve stayed at on Nevis! Charming, great location, wonderful hosts!

As a regular visitor to Nevis, I have stayed at numerous guest houses. This was by far my favorite! The owners were so friendly and accommodating and their dog Mango made our day every morning. The guest cottage is beautiful and well equipped and the bed was comfortable too. The view is simply incredible and the breeze makes hanging out enjoyable all day and night. You really can’t go wrong staying here :)

Perfect, cozy getaway

We visited Nevis for one week in February 2018 and this was the perfect place to stay. The cottage is very secluded and is surrounded by the most beautiful garden and views. Veronica and Brett coordinated our car rental and provided us with a list of things to do on the island, which was really helpful. We loved that it was a little removed from all of the hotels/resorts because it gave us a chance to get to know a different part of the island. Definitely recommend.

Best view on Nevis, centrally located, great hosts, quiet restful affordable

What a beautiful, floral, tropical setting! We had a little refrigerator, tea pot, coffee maker, and cooktop, so we had breakfasts on the deck gazing at hummingbirds among the flowers, and sunset snacks watching the glorious colors over the Caribbean Sea. Our hosts, Veronica and Brett, provided a very useful notebook of tour and dining tips, maps for driving or hiking, and even had some items in the fridge for our arrival and first breakfast. Windows stay open day and night, and a ceiling fan suffices on still nights. The Island is quiet except for natural sounds so alien to city ears - roosters, donkeys, chirping birds, crickets. We rested, ate amazing foods, toured historic ruins, walked on beautiful beaches, and met friendly people everywhere. We highly recommend Innisfree cottages and hope to return for another taste of this beautiful island and its delightfully hospitable people

A tiny piece of paradise

If you are looking for pampering, nightlife, and lap-of-luxury accommodations, this is not the place for you. If, however, you enjoy deserted beaches, amazingly friendly people, breathtakingly beautiful scenery, and lots of opportunities to explore, all based out of this perfect little cabin - you have found the right place! Veronica and Brett are friendly and helpful hosts. Veronica looked after booking our car rental with Strikers, and they gave us lots of tips on things to see and do on this gem of an island. The cabin is simple, with water from a cistern and the water pump and main lights powered via a solar panel on the roof. Kitchen is outfitted with a two burner hotplate, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker and toaster. Everything you need! We rarely travel more than once to a destination, but Nevis will see us again! Sea View cottage was the perfect base for a week of island living, and Brett and Veronica the perfect hosts. Book it - you won't be disappointed!

Quaint and Cozy

My husband and I decided to stay in this cottage for our honeymoon. First off, the property is beautiful. Veronica and Brett were extremely helpful and accommodating for our stay. They set up a rental car through Strikers who met us upon arrival on Nevis from the water taxi. Our ride to the cottage was incident free which added to their hospitality. Veronica showed us around the cottage which is self-sufficient; using a solar powered battery for electricity, which is in addition to govt power, and recycled filtered rain water for water. The view is amazing and the breeze is wonderful considering there is no a/c. AC is not needed the way the cottage is set up to harness the breeze and actually gets quite chilly at night with the ceiling fan. There is a nice porch to sit out on to eat breakfast in the morning and have coffee. Early in the morning, if you're lucky, you can catch the monkeys roaming the property. Both Veronica and Brett are helpful for pointing out scenic spots around the island, if needed (You must try Indian Summer).

The most relaxing happy cottage in idyllic surroundings

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for two weeks over the New Year period and had the best time of our lives. The cottage itself is fantastically set with stunning views of the surrounding sea and the hosts were so friendly and welcoming we couldn't recommend this place enough! In the cottage you'll find everything you need for a great stay and in such a great area of the island you'll be spoilt for choice for things to do and see. We are both hoping one day to return again!

Garden Cottage - 2 thumbs up

I enjoyed staying in the Garden Cottage very much. It was so nice, private, and serene to come back to after my day's wanderings. It was perfect for sleeping with its comfy bed; the kitchen and bathroom had everything I needed; and the deck was perfect for sitting, eating, and doing my own yoga rituals when I wasn't doing it with you, Veronica, on your deck, and, I loved you and Brett, Nelson, Florence, and Goldie. It was very helpful and personal care...and, I hope I will see you all again.

Spectacular Nevis Cottage

8 wonderful days at this beautiful location. Veronica and Brett are great hosts and the propoerty is spectacular. When you wake in the morning to hummingbirds and monkeys outside your window, what's there to complain about. Great views of the Carribbean, gentle breezes at night and sunsets that seem to be photo shopped. We will certainly return.

Best Location on the Island

We were so happy with having chosen this property for our lodging on Nevis! The cottage was just perfect in its size and amenities for a couple. Being very new the cottage was in perfect condition and very nicely appointed with chairs, a beach umbrella, linens and kitchen gear. The view from our little porch was wonderful. We could sit there for hours. Our hosts were informative, fun, & extremely helpful. We felt like family visiting. A rental car seems like a must for getting around Nevis. The island is rich in history with many sites to visit. Golden Rock, Montpelier & Peak Haven being high on our list. All three make a great lunch spots. The Botanical Gardens are worth a visit. The Hermitage, within hiking distance, was a great spot for a nice dinner. There are many beaches both off the beaten path & uncrowded, as well as beaches at smaller resorts you can visit with no problem. Nisbet Plantation & Oualie beach in particular.

Garden Cottage

We enjoyed Nevis for ten wonderful days. The cottage was adorable and thoughtfully cared for by the on-site owners who arranged car rental and thoughtfully supplied breakfast foods~~ ocean views, fantastic sunsets, peaceful sound of rain on palms (rain only @ night!), rather nice to have radio and no TV (and wonderful to have WIFI). The neighbors and locals were very friendly~the roads were quite good~and The Beaches Fantastic. We hope to return next January, hopefully with friends and rent both cottages.
