Could have had better cleaning, fruit flies throughout house. The pool floor was 2/3 covered in sand, bad idea to have sand by the pool with coastal winds, to add, fine ground mulch in the same area was floating on top of the pool water. Expected more for 1600 a night.

Hi Eddie, you're right, having sand and mulch around the pool creates problems, especially after a rainstorm! Our pool company was there quickly to clean this up for you, and we are all over preventing the problem going forward. Right now we are working with our pool company, landscapers, and outside contractors to improve and upgrade the outdoor space, with the goal of eliminating the problem entirely. It means a lot to us that our guests have top-notch experiences and we are working towards that every day.

Great stay with a group of friends. Four king bedrooms was a bonus. Comfy and cozy seating area in the living room area. It was a stormy weekend, so we didn't get to use the outdoor amenities, but the pool area looked super fun.

The layout of the house was excellent for a large group. The common area along with the kitchen provided ample space for hanging out. We had 14 in our group and we never felt crowded. The way the beds and baths are situated provided for privacy so different family groups felt comfortable. The 4 outdoor balconies added another space for relaxing and taking in the ocean or pool views. The outdoor pool area was great for an afternoon swim. Our evenings included fun and games with in the recreation area beside the pool. Both cornhole and yard darts were provided. We have some very competitive family members. The property location is excellent. It is right across from the beach access which is a big open space that provides the house with a great view of the ocean. Plenty of chairs, umbrellas and 2 wagons were available in the storage room. This made it easy to get items to the beach and then we were comfortable when we got there. The host went above and beyond to provide everything you need for a beach getaway as evidenced from above. The beach towels were even provided. We were very comfortable and all was perfect with the house. When we did need to touch base with the host, the response was immediate and the host was very accommodating!!! I highly recommend this beach property!!! It is exceptional.

Beautiful property. Perfect area for our family and views were almost like being ocean front. We spent a lot of time on front porch seeing dolphins every day. Backyard was great with pool and sand area for little ones. So many refrigerators and large TVs throughout the house. Kerry our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Walk to beach was just steps away. We had the best time!

Wonderful

Easy access to beach- great location! The house had everything we needed and the bedroom set up worked well for our family. Since we had young children, the sandy area near the pool made the pool deck hard to keep clean and keep the kids from tracking in sand to the house. Overall would highly recommend!

Beach Trip

The home was perfect and we hope to come again next Fall. The house was beautiful, with a well-stocked kitchen, lots of beach essentials provided in storage area, perfect seating inside, near the pool and outside on porches. The house had many great views and the close beach access was fantastic! Two refrigerators and dishwashers made cooking and clean up easy! Host was very knowledgeable and responded quickly to questions. Great vacation spot for large families!

Memories for a lifetime

We had a party of 11 that came from different parts of the country. We stayed a week, and had an amazing time! The private beach was so convenient. The host put a lot of time in the details, and it showed! The pictures and descriptions were exactly what was experienced! Thank you for the hospitality, and allowing us to use your beautiful home for memories that will last a lifetime!

Family Christmas Gathering

I rented this property to host family for Christmas. I can honestly give this property a 5 star review. From the property itself, down to the communication with the property owner, everything was seamless. Property owner went out of her way to ensure my family had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Plenty of space, very modern decor and great location. If you rent this property you won’t be disappointed.

Bachelorette weekend perfection

Our bride wanted a low key, small town beach feel for her bachelorette and Oak Island was the most perfect place. We had 12 girls and Kerry’s place was absolutely PERFECT for us. Steps from the beach and an access point made it super easy to come and go as we needed! The pool at the house was perfect when we wanted a break from the beach. Her checkin/checkout processes, communication, and kindness was absolutely incredible. She was so responsive and so helpful - even to the point where I was having trouble getting hold of a local restaurant to make a dinner reservation and she offered to make it for me. The house had more amenities than most like kcups for coffee, toilet paper, dish soap, beach towels, etc. It’s truly perfect for a large group of family or friends! We loved our stay there and the next time I have a big group for a beach vacation, we will be back!
