Resting Beach Face (RBF) has been designed with the perfect island oasis getaway in mind. Come and relax by your large private heated pool with custom loungers, large and new back patio, and grill area. This modern 3-bedroom and 2 bathroom cozy home perfect for 1-2 families. Two of the three bedrooms are equipped with custom made king sized beds with brand new mattresses. The third bedroom has 2 queen sized custom made bed frames with a brand new mattress. This gorgeous redesigned home is perfect for two small families to come and spend a relaxing vacation. The spacious living room has been redesigned with a 65 inch flat screen television perfect for cuddling up and watching a movie after a long day at the beach. RBF has a kitchen that is open with both views of the living room and the pool. This is perfect set up to cook while safely keeping an eye on your children in the pool or in the living room. The kitchen has been redesigned to fit the needs of the ultimate cook. Down to the stainless steel appliances and endless cooking supplies, you will not need to bring anything from home. Resting Beach Face sits directly across the beach with ocean views from the front porch and public access a quick walk in both directions. RBF has beach chairs, beach wagons, sand toys, bikes, and enclosed child carriers that connect directly to the bike. RBF has everything that you need to have the perfect, private, relaxing vacation. All you need to bring are your clothes and your flip flops. This beautiful home is under new ownership and they have redesigned this beautiful home to meet the needs of their guests just as they expect when they go on vacation. This is truly the perfect getaway for a family or two families. RBF is a short walk away from the piers and a bike ride away from many of the local restaurants. If you want the perfect getaway without having to pack everything but the kitchen sink, then this is for you. Come and feel cozy, relax, and let us share our home with you. Property was great. All together the whole extended family had 4 houses on Oak Island, even with the other 3 houses being giants in another tax bracket the little Resting Beach Face became the go to hang out in the afternoons. Pool was great, house was clean, and AC system not only kept cool but did a great job keeping beach humidity to a zero. Only thing we would change is not brining to much of our stuff to the beach, no need for extra grill, corn hole, and chairs, they are already downstairs in the storage room for you.Owners were great, look forward to staying again in the future.

Very nice beach house on the second rowPool was clean and had nice loungers and umbrellas Owner was easy to communicate with and gave me access to her personal phone during our stayThe beach access was close on both sides but we found out the access to the left was much nicer. Of course the hot tub and heated saltwater pool were great, but the things that put this property at five stars for us were having lots and lots of beach gear and a wagon, and the host was just super responsive and accommodating.

This was an incredible stay everything in the home was well thought out for a family and the communication with the host was top notch. TVs with Roku in every room and a few baby items like toilet seat high chair etc. Bath and beach towel in each room plus a cozy blanket for the bed. Everything was thought of !! It is very conveniently located to walk across the street to the beach and the pool, hot tub and outdoor shower were highlights. Grocery stores near by and the kitchen is fully equipped so we never even ate out. Absolutely will be back

Love the location! Easy and quick to get around. We probably stayed in the heated pool most of the weekend and took in the sun. Communications were prompt. Recommend Kia joes taco stand and Salt 64! Easy access to beach, we enjoyed a long walk.

I seriously have NO COMPLAINTS about this beach house!! From the owner being super nice, laid-back and top-notch in communication, to the cleanliness of the house (as a "germaphobe" that means everything lol) even to the close proximity to the ocean (we could walk there everyday in under five minutes), it really made for a more relaxing stay. The pool and hot tub were very clean as well. If we're able to visit again next year, we will TOTALLY stay here again!!

The property is not kept up and many areas of the house do not appear as pictured. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet, nor would the lid stay up. All of the outdoor furniture was either falling apart, rusted or very old and most did not have cushions. We had two separate water leaks with pipes under the house. Many of the kitchen utensils, pots and pans were unusable due to rust or excessive wear and tear therefore I wasn't able to cook a full meal. The bikes provided were completely rusted. And the washer was covered in mildew. The 2nd bathroom doesn't have a full sink, but a camper sized sink. The pool and hot tub were nice and saved the week!

Hi Lindsey, thank you for the feedback. I do apologize for the leak under the house, we sent someone over as soon as you contacted me and the problem was resolved immediately. Unfortunately, these things happen from time to time, part of maintaining a home. We are directly across from the beach, outdoor furniture does tend to rust, this is why we replace the outdoor furniture typically once a year, the loungers have been replaced since receiving your feedback, we additionally replaced any cookware that was damaged or worn and replaced with new. The bikes are a little rusty because of the ocean; however we replace the chains each season and will replace them if they are no longer usable. There are cushions under the stairs for the loungers, we keep them there so they don’t blow away. We hope to have you back on the island and thank you for taking the time to provide this review.
