The surroundings were absolutely gorgeous. The Peacefulness was so relaxing. The cabin was gorgeous and clean. It’s a cute little cabin tucked away in the woods on the lake, it’s the perfect getaway.

Stunning view, quiet, very well maintained, and private. The owner has paid attention to the details that make it special as well. We go to cabins three times a year or so and this is one of the best we have been to.

This was perhaps our best Vrbo stay yet! The property was pristine & well equipped with thoughtful extras. Very clean. The location is quiet & well off the beaten path. A real getaway experience in the Appalachian mountains, with a beautiful view.

Beautiful Lakefront Cabin

This place is just beautiful. Everything is provided, location is private, hot tub and fishing were huge bonuses! Drive is very steep and parking is limited. That said, we drive a crew cab F250 and still managed just fine. Thank you for such a great stay.

Long weekend!

The property is beautiful and full of wonderful touches! We enjoyed the covered deck and fishing from the dock. The hot tub has a great view of the sunsetting. Would recommend Old Time Grill if you want a good lunch or dinner. Thanks again Teresa!

A great spot to unwind

We had a great weekend getaway at this cabin. The view is so peaceful that we were happy just relaxing for most of the weekend at the cabin. It’s in perfect shape and exactly as you see in the pictures. We went to several farm to table restaurants in London and also to Cumberland falls. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice spot on the lake to unwind.

Beautiful Cabin

The location is breathtaking! Wonderful stay! Lake and hot tub were perfect and a very quiet neighborhood with beautiful scenery. This is our second time here and the updates to the cabin are amazing! Did such a good job to make this place so welcoming and cozy! Very clean and home all everything from coffee, cooking utensils and toiletries. Just book it! You won’t be disappointed!

Honeymoon

I rented this cabin for my Son as a wedding present for him and his new bride. They loved it. He took me on a video tour when he was there. It is a beautiful cabin and the water view was wonderful. I am a clean freak and he told me I would think this place was clean.

Best Honeymoon Imagineable!

The cabin is absolutely ideal! My wife and I spent our honeymoon here and loved every minute of it. Kase and Teresa put so much thought into every detail of this place and it really shows. The cabin was incredibly clean and everything you need is taken care of. Their communication is spectacular and personal and they went above and beyond for us. It's clear they take a lot of pride in this space. Our highlights were hanging out on the deck while it rained, drinking coffee on the pier in the morning, and chilling in the hot tub. Fun stuff to do in the area: horseback riding at Cumberland Falls and boat rentals from Grove Marina on Laurel River Lake. Enjoy!

The most terrible vacation of my life, not suggesting to anybody

First of all, That cabin is very old, and it’s not smell good. The lake is good, but not clean, empty bottles, some plastic trash, paper is all around pier, the beds are horrible, you can not sleep on that 100 years old mattresses, they need to go a way, the pillows is terrible and all the furniture is so old and not comfortable, even the blankets is seems not ever been washed and smell bad. Second, it is a neighbor in 10-15 feet from your cabin, to right and to left, they live there permanently, walking around with the dogs, looking to jacuzzi from the beck road, next cabin construction was very noisy, dogs is running around and sheeting around your cabin, but the most important is that cabin have 4 video cameras, you not feel privet at all, I’v been in many cabins before and never see the cameras, what is there point?, to watch people? I was not feel get a way!!!I’m so sorry for me , that I spend so much money and do not have any fun, I left earlier, can not stay for one more night, was disgust by this place. Moreover, none of the cabin description on web site is saying that you have neighbors?, it is not ok!!!

Magnificent!

The weather was not sunny but we enjoyed swimming. The lake is clean and calm. The staircase to the deck is steep . The house is very clean and well equipped. We loved the rustic design , the covered porch and the fantastic view of the lake. It was the last week of September 2024, we saw no people except for the extremely kind neighbors and their friendly dogs. Penny and Mark took us on a boat ride, showed us different parts of the majestic lake and shared their floaters and kayak. Also We enjoyed long walks in the company of their dog. We hope to come again next year!

Wonderful cabin and beautiful location

The cabin and location were wonderful. Very clean and well stocked. The beds and linens are so comfortable. They spared not expense. It would be nice to have local tv stations since we were there while they were searching for the London I-75 shooter and we had no way of getting updates. Another thing that would be nice is to have a usable closet in the small bedroom (the closet has a lock on it). But all in all, it is a terrific cabin!
