Take in the starry skies above Topsail Island with your very own hot tub on the deck. Located in the prestigious community of Ocean Ridge, you'll enjoy access to the oceanfront pool and easy access to the beach. You'll really love the abundance of natural light flooding in from a full wall of sliding glass doors and floor to ceiling windows in the living area. This room also features plenty of comfortable furniture, a large TV, cooling ceiling fan, and recessed lighting.

The large deck features chaise lounges, a large picnic table that seats eight, and Adirondack chairs, perfect for sitting with morning coffee and admiring the view of the ocean and listening to the roar of the waves.

The pub-style dining table for six sits directly in front of a sliding glass door and offers a captivating view of the sand and surf. You'll always have the best table in the house here. The kitchen is a vision in pristine white, with blue tile backsplash and a chef's pot rack hanging above the breakfast bar with seating for two. You'll love creating new recipes and old family favorites in this light and spacious space.

On the top floor is a very generously sized primary bedroom. In addition to the vaulted ceilings with ceiling fan and recessed lighting, the lucky guests to claim this space will also enjoy the big TV and private access to an oceanfront deck - perfect for midnight stargazing. The luxurious ensuite bathroom has dual pedestal sinks, a big jacuzzi tub, and oversized walk-in shower. Also on the top floor is an equally large kid's bunk room. This room also has an ensuite bathroom.

Nice Beach Vacation

The home was well decorated and the kitchen was very well stocked with every pan, utensil one could need. The location to the beach was the best part off the deck walked right straight to the beach. We had an issue with the air conditioning on first floor but management was fast to resolve the issue. The TV’s three out of five weren’t connected to anything and there was little to no instruction on how to use any of them. The master TV or one upstairs was disconnected from the Roku but we reconnected it from downstairs. We didn’t use the other three TV’s anyways, but others this could be an issue. The thermostat on first floor seems to say one temp and another temp comes out, but we didn’t let that bother us just had to get used to how it works. The house had everything we needed and the closeness to the beach was amazing. Bring bug spray if coming in Fall the gnats were swarming and biting on deck and beach especially after rain. The hot tub was cold when we came but followed the instruction to an unmarked outlet in garage to hit reset to heat up took a few hours. It had a bit of sand in it but otherwise was clean we decided not to use. Was a wonderful vacation.

So close to the beach!

The view of the beach and the proximity to walking to the beach far exceeded my expectations. The kitchen is the best appointed kitchen that we have ever had in a rental. Absolutely everything we needed was there. The home's floor plan easily accomodated our party of 10, 2 dogs and with parking for 3 cars. There were a couple of minor issues that occured and Vacassa had them corrected in a very timely manner. The teens enjoyed the upstairs living area and the corn hole and beach rafts that were provided. Our family said it was their favorite vacation ever!. We would go back.

Some good, some bad

The location is great, the partial ocean view is as shown, but the photos are from several years ago - much of the furniture is not the same, nor in the same location (for example, there is no desk as shown upstairs). The outside is sorely in need of repainting, and the deck will need to be replaced in the next couple of years. **There are no hot tubs steps** and when I called to request them, I was told that the owner refused to authorize the purchase. Clearly both the owner and Vacasa have no regard for personal safety - I wonder if their insurance companies know this... The only place to park is in the garage, which you enter via a very steep incline, and you are not given a garage door opener, so you are always in and out of your car to close the doors. Also, you are not given a key to the door to the house (the code is for the door into the garage), so if you lock yourselves out, as we did, you have to find some way to get yourselves in. I did notify Vacasa that the garage itself is filthy, as is the outdoor shower. Whether or not the owner allows them to clean it - since they won't pay for hot tub stairs - is anyone's guess. Since the garage is how you access the house, your first impression isn't great. Also good to know is that the staircases are fairly steep, in case you have mobility issues.

Great location but home could use some work!

Door entry was confusing had to go in through garage basement . Garage is cluttered with old furniture that needs do me thrown away. Once we finally entered the home it smelled dry and stuffy with black pet hair everywhere even over all of the beds. I was so embarrassed of the way the home was that I went out to buy cleaning products and washed everything. No linens so bring your own pillowcases , sheets, towels etc. we came for Thanksgiving to stay so my family and I made the best of it! Home has a great view but needs renovations and a deep clean. Was frustrated how inconsiderate the home was left. Our outdoor trash was left full prior so we didn’t even have a place to put our trash. Just seems this home was not prepped before our check in which was unfair.
