This spacious, newly renovated, 5 bedroom 3.5 bath home is perfect for your large or extended family. In addition to an open concept living room, kitchen, and dining room, the upper floor features a master en-suite with full size bathroom, walk- in closet and Roku TV/DVD player. You'll find everything you need to make you feel at home in this well equipped kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and glass tile backsplash. Enjoy your meals out on the composite upper deck or at the large indoor table. There's room for the whole family to hang out in the living room area and watch movies on the brand new 55" Smart TV, or to have a family game night (plenty on the bookshelf). With Jack and Jill style bedroom suites on the first floor, parents can enjoy the privacy, comfort and peace of mind that comes with having their own room connected to the kids room by a full sized bathroom. Each room comes equipped with it's own TV, and the queen over queen bunk room features a TV with a build in DVD player for those littles that can't fall asleep without watching their favorite movie. No need to worry about packing enough clothes either as the large washer and dryer are conveniently closeted on the first floor. Enjoy spectacular views of the ocean, complete with frolicking Dolphins (in season), while relaxing on either of the comfortably furnished upper or lower composite front decks, or watch majestic birds flying over the sound from the upper composite back decks.

Getting to and from the beach is a breeze as beautiful Topsail beach is less than 300 feet away! We provide beach chairs, sand and water toys, and an umbrella for your convenience. Also within a short distance is a children's playground. For those of you that like biking, and/or kayaking there is a rental nearby as well.

During your stay you can unplug from the world, or stay in touch with friends and family (or work if you really need to) via our free WiFi. If your idea of a perfect vacation includes listening to your favorite tunes, just connect up to our wireless Bluetooth speaker and enjoy.

Weekly rentals run Saturday to Saturday June- August. Off season rentals offer more flexibility in rental dates.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Thank you for staying at our beach house. Check out time is 10am. Please make sure all personal items are removed and all trash/recycling is removed and out into trash/recycling bins.
Please also be sure to strip the sheets from the beds and put them in front of the washer as well as to start a load of towels before you leave. Remove food and drinks from the refrigerators too.
Double check the outside shower as it is common for guests to leave items behind.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
In the event that the island restricts short term rentals, due to Covid or natural disaster, refunds will be issued.
Pets are allowed with a pet fee and owner approval

We all absolutely loved this house. It was everything we needed and is so close to the beach it surprises you. There were 10 adult adults and three children, we all fit nicely. . It was a rainy week, but we still enjoyed our time because of the proximity to the beach. So easy to get to, and it’s very private and quiet.

Great house for family beach vacation

Our family enjoyed a long holiday weekend at this house. We had plenty of space for 6 adults, 2 toddlers and a baby. Short walk to the beach and very kid friendly. We would stay here again!

Perfect property

Great Home!

We needed a large house in a particular neighborhood that accommodate three large dogs and a toddler in the same home - this house could not have been more perfect!! Very open and spacious, VERY toddler friendly - and easily the cleanest "pet friendly" house I have stayed in. Cannot wait to rent again!

Owner was incredibly responsive. Location is top notch. Pretty quiet neighborhood. Local restaurants had excellent food and service. Kitchen stocked well if you like to cook. Surprising amount of spices. Beds were pretty comfortable. Front porch views were fabulous.

Loved this place! House was everything and more. House is beautiful. There was more then ample space for everyone. Plenty of space on the decks and in the open living area to relax when not on the beach. House has beautiful views of the ocean and is literally less then a minute walk to the beach. This was our first Christmas together since 2019 and it was perfect

The property was as described and Ellen made good on her promise to decorate for Christmas to the enchantment of my grandsons. The unit is well appointed and offered room to be together. For not being right on the water it was a quick walk and the balcony offered a view of the ocean and beautiful sunrise.

Beach family getaway

We loved the house. They had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Loved all the beach toys etc that was available to us! It was wonderful. I would like to see a closet for the Master suite. I had no where to hang my clothes. I used the hall tree in the entry hallway. But it was perfect for my family of 14. I would go again!!

This is our third year staying at this property. We love that we are a short walk to the beach. We have a large family so it's nice that everyone has their own room. The kitchen is well stocked. There are lots of towels. It's clean and has televisions in every bedroom. It's been great for us.

Beautiful home, great communication with owner. Pet friendly. Many restaurants and shopping close to home. Large dining table for family and plenty of room for everyone. TVs in every room. Internet worked great. Weather was horrible because of rain and wind, but plenty of shopping spots to check out. We also went to the turtle hospital which was fun and educational. Kids loved it.

We had a wonderful vacation in this home! It is located on a quiet street extremely close to the beach. The home was very clean! The Jack and Jill bathroom/bedroom set up worked out very well for our family members who have a toddler. The large, upstairs balcony with an ocean view (better than I expected) was the perfect place for us to spend time together in the evenings.

Great beach access, we and the dog had an awesome time! Even though we brought our own beach supplies, there was a huge variety to choose from downstairs in the entryway. Kitchen was well stocked. The owner was great in communicating ( even when we called them on their own vacation overseas -oops we didn't know) ! Overall a lovely stay.

Great home

The house was great for our group of 9. The kitchen was well stocked except for a decent can opener. The home has great decks to sit and listen to the waves and lightening shows in the evening, the back deck off the kitchen for the sunset is great! Very short walk to the beach!Overall the home was clean, there was sand in the floors of several bedrooms, the showers need ATTENTION. The shower curtains had mold and soap scum on them as well as the shower walls, you can definitely tell they haven't been scrubbed in a while and the ceiling fans were coated in a thick layer of dust.

Amazing Location and Layout

This home has an amazing location! The size of the home and layout are perfect for families with children. We used the upstairs deck the most, just sitting and enjoying the view and the ocean breeze. The beach is just a short two minute walk away. There are plenty of beach towels and items to use for a beach day. The second refrigerator downstairs was very helpful and the outdoor grill was great!Not sure if the property management company needs to be changed or new cleaners are needed but the home could use a good deep clean and someone to go through everything that has been left behind. There are games, but everything is just thrown on shelves and some have pieces missing. Dirty sponges were left in the sink and the trash cans were in the middle of the floor when we arrived. There are loads of lids for pots and pans, taking up a large amount of cabinet space but there are not nearly as many pots and pans themselves. There were multiple coffee makers but we could only get one to work. There are labels on all cabinets and drawers but nothing matched what was actually in them. There are TVs in every room, some with multiple TVs in one room, but we could only get the TV in the living room to work.Overall we enjoyed our stay, had a fantastic time, and would recommend this home to anyone coming to Topsail!

My husband, Ray and I purchased this property as an investment for our future retirement plans. We live just north of Boston, and are only able to come down a few times a year; twice in the off season, and with our whole family in August. This time to get together is especially meaningful to us now that our sons have moved to Texas. We know how important family time is to you too, and hope that you have a wonderful stay, and make lots of great memories.

Why they chose this property

We came down in 2016 on Thanksgiving weekend, looking for a home to buy and our poor realtor, Glynda, ended up showing us 10 houses in 2 days! This was the last house that we saw that weekend, and we fell in love. You just can't beat the set up for convenience, and the location is perfect. It's far enough from the center that you don't have the traffic and the noise, but still close enough to walk there (less than 2 miles) which is especially nice when walking the beach. The views from the deck, and sound of the waves while relaxing on either of the front decks are heavenly.

What makes this property unique

There are so many things that make our home unique, and keep our guests coming back year after year. We are always looking to improve our guests experience. I'm really excited that we are now offering complimentary turn down service included with our linen service. This means that when you arrive at our house, the beds will already be made for you with super comfortable sheets, and towels will be placed in the bathrooms. We also recently added a picnic table by the grill area, and a hammock that can easily be attached to the posts. Our extra large outdoor shower has a built in bench, as well as hooks for hanging your towels, and the shower has a removable wand making it easy to get all of that beach sand off. We keep a clothesline up for your towels as well. Many people, like me, treasure the sunrises and sunsets that are so spectacular at the beach. You can see both from our house! View the sunrise from the front decks, and the sunset from the back decks! You won't need to worry about splinters either, because all of our decks and outdoor stairs are made from composite decking materials and as an added safety feature, we have a latching gate on the first floor deck!
