Load and start the dishwasher

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Lock the doors and return the keys

Upon departure please return one key to lock box. Lockbox code is 9131. Leave the other key on top of the welcome book on the third floor. Thanks!

Please place sheets from used beds in one pillow case and leave it on the bed. Leave covers in the room(s). Shams are washed on-site so just leave them on the pillows. Thanks!

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Do not use bleach on house towels or linens. You will be charged for damage if it occurs.

Absolutely no smoking in the house. If you smoke around the property, please pick up your cigarette butts.

Please pick up pet poop and mitigate any hair deposits in the house.

This rental was perfect for a group of 30-40 year old moms looking for a quiet and fun weekend away! We each had our own bedroom and Queen bed. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed from multiple coffee makers to a crockpot as well as all the linens. The location was super close to the beach and we were able to get a couple walks in before a storm. We hope to come back in the future!Our host was kind and very responsive to any questions we had.

This place was amazing. One of the most well-stocked rentals we’ve ever stayed at - from kitchen needs to beach towels, extra blankets, beach toys, etc. Ample room for a large family to spread out. There was even a handful of baby/toddler items that were incredibly helpful - a gate! And a bed rail!

The house was very well kept. Neat and clean upon arrival. There was more than enough room for our large family and my in-laws. We cook at home while at the beach and this was hands down the best equipped and organized kitchen we’ve come across. Beach access is a couple of minutes from the house. Convenient to Surf City and short drive to Sneads Ferry. We had a great stay!

Everything went smoothly for our stay. The property was very clean and well-appointed. I am local, but could easily have flown in with zero supplies, as there were lots of extras at the house - fully stocked kitchen, pretty much everything you need. The beds were comfortable for everyone. It was the perfect size for us and it was a treat watching the storms from the top deck. The house is very close to the public access, at which we had a sea turtle nest identified and now guarded. This access wasn’t super crowded which was also nice. This location is close to so many things. We would definitely recommend the home to anyone!

Great views and location

This house had great views of the ocean, a wonderful layout with bedrooms, and all around great space! We also had to work some while there and the internet connection was great! also, great proximity to downtown surf city.

Family Reunion

Wonderful stay here to celebrate our parent’s 70th wedding anniversary. Great location with easy access to the beach and ocean views. Property is equipped with everything you need. Plenty of parking, seating around the dining table and in the living room.

Beautiful beach stay

Loved waking up every morning to drink our coffee outside on the deck. Beautiful, clean house. The house was set up so nicely. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. And the location to the beach was less than a minute walk! The stay was well beyond our expectations. Will be coming back again.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed this home. The layout was perfect for our family, and the home provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Although the home is not on the beach we were pleasantly surprised by how much of an ocean view the home still offers, and it is an easy and quick little walk to the public beach access. The beds were slightly firmer than we are used to but we adjusted to them after a couple of days. We will definitely stay at this property again.

Beautiful beach house with every amenity

We had a great long-weekend stay in Rachel’s home. It was clean and welcoming, and she’s thought of everything! The kitchen is well stocked, there are plenty of towels and beach towels, hooks in the exact spots you need them, and great deck furniture. She’s also an extremely responsive host. We highly recommend this home!

Location perfect!

House was clean and very nice lightly decorated beach theme. We really appreciated the provided linens towels and other supplies to get our vacation started. Bedroom and bath Layout was perfect for our group. Walk to beach was easy and short. Easy bike ride to down town. We have stayed in many homes at surf city over the years. Most beach front. The location of this home was the next best thing to beach front. We liked everything about this house!

Wonderful Beach Home!

We had a wonderful stay with extended family. We even survived all of the stairs ...maybe helped burn calories that we also enjoyed!! We wanted for nothing and were very comfortable in this well-outfitted home. The views and walk to beach were great! Would love to see additional seating on the top-level porch where we spent most of our time in the evenings. The gas grill (kept inside for safekeeping) was great to have! We never did see the mentioned fire pit, that would have been a welcome addition. This is a lovely beach home that we look forward to renting again in the future.

Excellent Vacation Home

One of the best vacation homes I’ve ever rented. Everything was as described or better, the house was well stocked with kitchen equipment, overall the house was well appointed and the furniture was comfortable and in good condition. There was a ton of beach equipment there even though we didn’t get to use it that often. Hurricane Debby made for one of the worst weather vacations we’ve had, but we made the best of it! This house was the perfect size for our group of 9 + 2 dogs. There was enough room in the house to provide seating at the dinning room table, around the living room and outside on the porches. Even though it’s not directly on the beach (we typically rent oceanfront) we had a nice view of the water and the walk is very easy and convenient. We will most definitely consider renting this vacation home again!

This was our second time staying at this property. It really works great for our family. The kitchen is stocked with anything you might need during your stay. There is ample common space for families. The deck space and seating is great and covered. The walk to the ocean is very easy and short. This property is perfect for a beach vacation!

Simply wonderful

It was almost like being at home - except for the ocean. The owners have anticipated needs and filled those needs. Everything is very easy from confirmation thru checkout, the beautiful beach was an incredibly short walk away and the ocean views from the decks are so relaxing! Great neighborhood! Beds were comfortable with nice linens, furniture allowed room for everyone and incredible game nights at the large dining table!

Amazing!!

I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a vacation rental as clean as this one was!! There were no pet odors or stains. We all loved it and the beach access was so close. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We really want to rent this house again, but with 3 senior citizens in our group, the stairs were a bit difficult for them. We will definitely check out other rentals from this host.
