Pre Christmas Season getaway

25th annual weekend away with another couple to visit stops on the NH wine, chocolate, and cheese trail. We are planning on booking same place for next year.

No Hot Water, pool green, horrible smell in hall

This condo is very inexpensive and we thought it would work well for our family coming from NJ to attend a funeral. It did NOT! The hall going to the condo smells awful, like the chemical you put in a Porta Jon. It's really disgusting, that we ran through each time we left. The pull out sofa is not usable. It has a huge sink hole on bottom left. Only one of us were able to take a hot shower in the morning. There is only enough hot water for 1 person. The rest took COLD showers. The floor under the table was so sticky and gross we had to clean upon arrival. The carpets are stained. The bedding is old and stained. The pool was pea green.

Clogged up

Place was ok. Little bit outdated but that was ok. The issues were the stove top needs to be cleaned ouf. Almost set off smoke alarm and a fire due to all the crumbs when I started the stove. Listed as two bathrooms. The shower in the second bathroom did not work and the one that did work needs to be unclogged. After about two minutes in the shower the water is ankle deep. Carpets are stained. Kids woke up with what appeared to be bug bites. I reported my condition along the way to management. They did respond but did nothing about it. No extra sheets.

Week stay at the lake

Overall the property is fine for the price . Positives- great location by weirs beach. Pool at the village is nice with lots of chairs etc grills . The apartment was clean and had plenty of paper towels, linens , toilet paper etc . Everything was communicated through property management company for check in check out . They did have some updates kitchen area and bathrooms looked remodeled. Negatives- the apartment was very dated- furniture, carpet etc. The picnic table vs a kitchen table with chairs was not very helpful for a family with small kids. The bed situation was tough for a family with kids I think two full beds with a pull out- this I’m sure was on the listing just next time will look for bunk beds or two twin for kids( not really on them more something I will look for) you can definitely hear the apartment above you steps / running around . One of the shower drains took forever to drain so the shower was standing in a pool of water by the end. Overall we had a great time and the apartment was fine. There is so much to do around the area lake, Boardwalk, go karts, arcades etc.
