Welcome to Blue Moon Retreat. Once in a Blue Moon, you come across an absolutely amazing vacation rental with a spacious layout for a friend's getaway or family gathering with a pond and gorgeous views!

Blue Moon Retreat is a beautiful 6-bedroom Vacation Rental near the Hocking Hills that can accommodate up to 18 guests! It has 3 levels of living space, two decks, a fire pit, a pond with a floating dock, a hot tub and so much more!

Linens and towels- Fully made beds with sheets, blankets, comforters, bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, dish rags/clothes for washing and drying, misc.

Perfect 50th birthday getaway

We loved everything about the property. It is spacious, clean, beautiful, and has lots of things to stay busy on site. We hiked Old Man's Cave, Conkle's Hollow, and Rock House, all of which are just a short drive away. We had a great time!

Plenty of space with several TV areas with couches, plenty of very comfortable beds / rooms for multiple guest and large kitchen. About a 15 minute ride to Logan, Ohio.

Great house

House was very large and accommodating for our large group. Great and secluded location with ample parking for all our trucks and trailers. Had an issue with the septic tank, owner and maintenance were quick to respond and rectify the issue. Hope to be back next year.

Great for a large family/group

We enjoyed our stay with extended family. Looked even better in person than online. Pluses: number of beds, well-stocked kitchen, new feel with aesthetic colors and designs, ample eating seating and couch seating, great hot tub. Minuses: a little far from main Hocking Hills trails, lack of hooks in bedrooms/bathrooms, house temperatures were uneven.

We stayed right after a snow storm and they communicated with me about the area being accessible and electric was on. We felt good about staying despite the weather. The home was comfortable, clean, well maintained, and well stocked! Our only issue was that the water had a very strong smell. We don't know if it was well water but the sulfur smell was was unpleasant. Otherwise, we would stay again! Great place for a family or a company retreat!

Had a very strong sewage smell from all drains in the house, possibly because of bad plumbing and septic setup. House itself was pretty good.

Great Thanksgiving!

The house was fabulous! They have a great assortment of cooking gear and kitchen set ups! Would rebook in a heart beat! Two things: definitely need a new hot tub cover. I was in fear the thing would fall apart when we took it off! ( however, did not spoil our enjoyment of the tub! And it would be a huge help to have a wagon with high sides to remove the garbage.!

Had to threaten to sue the owners to get them to honor this rental after they tried to cancel at the last minute. Organization from the rental agency was abysmal. Basement smelled very musty. The pond was completely opaque and a sketchy milky teal color. Owners only left 3 trash bags and no large outdoor trash can. They asked us to just put trash bags outside, but aninals got into them immediately and we had to spend an hour cleaning up trash all over the property.

New Years Wve

The property was nice and was exactly as described in the listing, however the sewage backed up and flooded the basement. It was hard to get ahold of the property manager as their voicemail was full. We got ahold of the maintenance worker directly but it took over 5 hours by the time everything was cleaned up and working properly. We didn’t have any water during this for 16 people.
