We loved our stay at this home in Rogers. Nestled in the rolling hills just outsode of town it was the perfect place for our adventure in Arkansas to view the eclipse. Arriving after dark we easily got access to the house. Traveling with my adult children this home provided apple space for everyone. The beds were comfortable as was all the furnishings. It would have been nice to have a larger table for eating together (and playing games) The hot tub and back patio area was a nice place end a day of exploring. Communication with our host was excellent. We decided to see if the home was available for another night and we recieved a prompt reply that allowed us to do so. Would stay again if ever in the area.

Freezing
We rented this property for four nights. We were cold, we kept trying to warm the house up by turning up the thermostat, but it never got above 56. We realize that it was the coldest weekend we could have picked. First of all the garage door brackets that lifted and lower the garage door was broken, management did get that fixed the same day that we reported it. We left after three nights because we could not stand being so cold. Management stated that the heating unit was only two months old and that we should not be that cold. He said he understood and he would refund our money for one night. That has not happened.
There’s a tiny itty bitty kitchen table to seat two people, but the home sleeps eight. A table would be nice. We had to makeshift an area to play games because that was the game plan.
The house was cute, but we do have to question whether it could keep up with air-conditioning for summer. Absolutely no insulation in this house and we couldn’t use the hot tub because the house wasn’t warm enough for us to come inside and warm up.
At this point, I just feel like he should refund our total amount of money. We were trying to be nice because we thought the house was cute, but where’s my refund?
I gave three stars for cleanliness, because you can tell the house had not been dusted or swept for quite some time.
Overall it is a great property, clean, plenty of room and beds. If I could make a couple of suggestions though, need more seating space. There is no place to sit and eat on the inside for more than 2 people. Some seating on the deck outside would be nice also. Kitchen was sparsely stocked with utensils and cookware......there was one measuring cup. We did truly enjoy our stay and the communication we had witht he owner was prompt.
