About this property

Lakefront with Hot Tub/Sauna-Beaver Lake, WiFi

Start your next adventure and step into Cedar Cove Cabin, our picturesque 3-bedroom plus loft lodge in the rolling landscape of the Ozark Mountains, where you'll be greeted with incredible views through floor-to-ceiling windows flanked by cedar and natural Ozark stone throughout. Our carefully designed lakefront retreat is the quintessential outdoor getaway for any season. Play on the lake or relax in our large hot tub & Finnish sauna right on site. Perfect spot for families or friend's retreat!

Cedar Cove Cabin is fully equipped to be your home-away-from-home. The kitchen is furnished with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and of course, all you need for coffee each morning! Enjoy your meals together around the dining room table, breakfast bar or take it to the back deck for an epic barbecue on the charcoal grill.

After hiking through the Ozarks or bike riding down the hills, decamp to the family room for a movie night with streaming video or our large library of DVD's. This comfy space includes a 50 inch Smart TV with streaming access and live TV via Youtube TV, Netflix and WiFi. Play on the lake, swim in the cove or relax in our large hot tub (with non-chlorine system; 54 jets; recliner; waterfall; lighting system; seats 5 to 6) and Finnish sauna right on site. Cedar Cove Cabin is central to many of the adventures found under Arkansas' expansive skies and perfect for family fun, couples' retreats, visits to Eureka Springs(about 45 mins away) or Branson, MO (about 1.5 hours away), and other nature activities for up to 12 guests.

Or pour some hot cocoa and gather around the Great Room's wood fireplace (we supply the wood-be frugal), looking out the windows at the tree covered landscape. It's especially idyllic when snow is falling softly! Arkansas, the Natural state, is where rolling hills meet the Ozark Mountains, and we tried to capture that in our decor, using classic rustic details and natural flourishes to complement the panoramic views from each window.

Teens and children love the professional foosball table in the loft. Make s'mores or roast marshmallows over the fire pit. So yummy! Enjoy your morning coffee resting on the Adirondack chairs on the deck while you watch birds and deer cross your path before you attend your business zoom meeting or just relax for the day. You can rent boats at Lost Bridge Marina and there is a private boat launch only a few blocks from the cabin.

Bedrooms include an oversized master with a queen bed and comfy pillow top mattress; second bedroom with two queen beds. Bedroom three has a trundle bed with 2 twins that open into a king. The loft has a queen, lush futon bed. The master has an ensuite full bathroom shower and so does the loft. The ground level bathroom has a tub/shower combo. With three full bathrooms, there is plenty of space for everyone to keep up before hitting the lake or taking a trip into Eureka Springs or Branson. Base rate is for up to 6 guests. There is an additional charge of $11 per person per night for each additional guest up to a maximum of 12 total guests.

Guests may access the entire house.

Located directly on Beaver Lake at Lost Bridge Village(so clear divers congregate here in this blue-green water) you'll have plenty of space for spreading out and enjoying the fresh mountain air in privacy. Get ready to take in clear night skies full of brilliant constellations from the back-deck hot tub— whether it's a cold winter night or a fresh summer evening. Enjoy the lake therapy offered by the Finnish sauna right next to the hot tub. Or, go for a swim right in the quiet cove only a short, easy stroll down a meandering path surrounded by tall oak and cedar trees right to the water's edge. Be sure to watch for deer, chipmunks and squirrels!

We supply firewood to burn in the fireplace and fire pit but if you intend to burn a lot you should bring more. Save some for others. There is a community pool. If you intend to use it contact us for instructions. There is a neat cafe on Hwy 62 as you turn off to go to Lost Bridge called Short Stop. They are known for their gigantic soft serve ice cream cones. Their food is very good, too. The menu is burgers, fried chicken, daily specials, etc. This is the nearest gasoline station and convenience store. Nicer restaurants, fast food and grocery stores are in Rogers, AR which is about 30 minutes away. This is the closest spot to buy groceries prior to arrival. Eureka Springs, AR is about 45 mins away and Branson, MO is about 1.5 hrs. Crystal Bridges is about 40 minutes away. There's plenty of playing just on the beautiful Beaver Lake and sight seeing to keep you busy. See our Guidebook for more ideas.

The closest marina is Lost Bridge if you are driving. If you are boating then Starkey Marina is closest. You can rent boats from Lost Bridge Marina. The closest boat launch is about 3 blocks from Cedar Cove Cabin. If you don't leave your trailer at the launch you can park it in front of the cabin but make sure it is off the street and within the markers; so, not to trespass. When we bring our 22 foot pontoon boat we tie it to a tree. We have never had a problem.

This is a lake setting with abundant nature and wildlife to see but the cabin offers most amenities you have at home. The walk down the meandering path to the lake is gentle. There are some rocks and stones along the way. You are in the Ozark Mountains. Within Lost Bridge Village near the house you may walk or ride bikes. You would need a vehicle to get around long distance. There is no public transportation close by. Of course, a boat is a definite plus if you intend to cruise the lake.

Heading Into Town
While Cedar Cove Cabin feels just the right amount of secluded, you're still only 5 miles away from Garfield or 15 to Rogers. Cedar Cove Cabin is home to many outdoor adventures like fishing, water skiing, tubing and swimming. While you're here, be sure to check out some fantastic hiking trails, zip lining, spelunking the caves, canoeing on the Buffalo or King Rivers.
Silver Dollar City at Branson, MO is about 1.5 hours north for a unique back-in-time-adventure or attend some star lit celebrity shows. Branson or Eureka Springs also have plenty of options for dining, bar-hopping, and quaint coffee shops—they are really the quintessential mountain towns. In Bentonville be sure to see Crystal Bridges, our world class art museum. And Cedar Cove Cabin is the ideal home base for exploring the vast beauty of this special area! Book NOW while it's available!

Guests should be 25 or older to rent this house. We provide starter supplies of shampoo and shower gel, toilet paper, paper towels, & trash bags. For longer stays or large groups make sure you bring your own. You will be asked to sign a basic rental agreement to complete your booking.

Not totally accurate
I should have researched and read more of the reviews before I booked, that was my fault. If I would have read the disrespectful responses of the owner, that would have made my decision on just not to book all together. Not all VRBOs are a 5 star....isnt that why others give reviews? I guess the email asking for only 5 star reviews and again at the end, was a huge turn off in itself. I get it, but honest reviews are important for both customers and business owners. The outside house structure is more run down than we thought. Careful with opening the windows as the frames are not very sturdy. Also in MN you couldn't call and open loft or a basement living room that has a king bed placed in it a master bedroom either. Maybe they do in Arkansas? But just so you are aware its a 2 bedroom 3 bathroom house, with beds in the living room and loft. Just not accurately listed for privacy. Loved to fish in the lake and did catch fish, not swimable unless you have a boat, just fyi. Lots of great spices to use with cooking as well. Also it would be nice if charcoal was supplied for the grill, its almost like having a propane grill, and renters have to supply the propane... Overall it was a good stay, but not a 5 star.

Wonderful experience!!
Went to the mountains to see snow. A little early in the season but we saw it the day we left! We are from Tampa,Fl and it was really beautiful to see. Was surprised that there was only one TV in the entire home, but it actually brought us together. Owner was always available. Highly recommend

Epic Fishing Thanksgiving trip
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the view, peaceful environment and surroundings as well as a stunning home retreat. As listed, the driveway is a bit steep but luckily it wasn't any problem for us. The home was fully equipped with kitchenware, the bathrooms had complimentary shampoos and the third level had a lounge/game area. The amazing sauna was by far one of my personal favorites and so very relaxing with the view looking down to the lake. My husband hooked and caught a monster Striper too! We will definitely be coming back! Communication with the owners was on point and the questions or inquiries I had were quickly responded to.

In the Hills
Crickets and bugs all over inside, one trash bag, and a few toilet paper rolls (be prepared to buy it), in the driveway is completely horrible. We would stay somewhere else the next time we came! House overall was mediocre.

Steve and Debbie both are pharmacists. Steve was brought up in Ft. Smith, AR and Debbie is from Monroe, LA. Both now live in Fayetteville, AR which is about 45 minutes from the lake house. Because we live so close we are very attentive to the house. We have been renting our house for over 20 years and we know you won't return if you are not treated well. We have many repeat guests each year. We love outdoor activities and family life. Our grandchildren who are in elementary school really enjoy the lake house. What a "nature" education for them!

Why they chose this property

After spending many vacations on Beaver Lake we decided to buy this house in 2001 as a weekend get-away and as a vacation rental unit. We looked at many houses in Lost Bridge Village subdivision before we bought. What sold us on this house was the quality. We did not see houses with cedar wood and real Ozark stone as this one does. The construction is very well done by one of the best contractors in our area and you can feel it throughout the house.

The walk to the water from the house is very gentle. Even the elderly can usually handle it. There is always something to entertain you on Beaver. Walking, biking, swimming, boating, fishing, water sports, sailing, relaxing, relaxing, relaxing, etc.
