Ocean Grove Family Friendly, 3 blocks to the Beach

Our home is ready for your Ocean Grove vacation, we have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Sitting on the front porch with coffee or a glass of wine you can enjoy the OG lifestyle! Say hello to the neighbors and walk to everything. You’ll only have to cross one street to walk to the beach, once on the Boardwalk you can walk to Asbury to the north or Bradley, Avon and Belmar to the south. We love walking to Sea Grass on Main St for dinner and then to Day’s on Pitman St for ice cream. We try to provide all of the essentials, all you need are your personal belongings and favorite foods, we’ll take care of the rest, linens, towels, kitchenware, grill, 4 adult beach badges, beach chairs and umbrella.

Great Location! This quaint property is so close to the beach and all the fun in Asbury and Ocean Grove! There are stairs in the home, but we had no problem with them. Jennifer was a great host and easy to get ahold of. We loved the front porch, was so nice to sit out front and enjoy the gorgeous weather.

Great Stay

Great house in perfect location

We stay in OG every summer -- this house is right up there with the most pleasant we've had. Communication was great too. Would stay here again for sure.

We had a fantastic time in Ocean Grove and Jennifer’s inviting house and her hospitality was key to that! The house was very comfortable, had all the beach equipment we needed, was wonderful to cook and eat meals at home in, and was such a short walk to the beach (which was so great with little kids!). The only downside of our trip was a hurricane interfered with several of our beach days - Jennifer, unprompted, reached out to see if we wanted to extend (for free) our final day, so that we could get to get to enjoy an extra day of beautiful beach weather. This was so kind and generous and enhanced our already very positive feelings! We would love to return next summer!

Wonderful stay!

This was the perfect place for our family of 6. We thoroughly enjoyed all that Ocean Grove had to offer and were very comfortable in this house which was very well equipped and very clean. Will definitely be back!

Perfect Place for Our Off-Season Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Communication was clear, check-in was easy & the house was just as described in the listing. Comfortable accommodations and great location within easy walking distance to the beach. We appreciated the ample seating to spread out & get comfortable in the living room and nice appliances for making some meals at the house. The note & gift we received upon arrival made for an extra welcoming touch. Would consider staying here again or recommending to a friend. Thank you!

Peaceful stay near the beach

We’ve stayed in Ocean Grove many times and all agreed that these were the best accommodations. Convenient location to everything, especially the beach and boardwalk, on a quiet street with spacious, cozy and very clean living. The host was very thoughtful and communicative as well. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

May Days

A short May getaway with family. We explored Ocean Grove by spending time on the beach, walking to Main Street, and admiring the houses. The house is close to it all - beach, lake, town and we walked everywhere. The house met all of our needs. We had Tino’s pizza one night, and cooked at home our 2nd night. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bath and bedrooms were clean, well appointed, and felt fresh and welcoming.

Annual family vacation

Enjoyed our first visit to Ocean Grove, NJ--we enjoyed staying in the vrbo house it was very convenient to walking to the boardwalk, to restaurants, to asbury park area, etc We only used our car one time to purchase some groceries for the house---house worked well for three couples--and the owner gave great details--including beach chairs, umbrellas, wheeled cart --we hope we can stay another year...MA

Beautiful house and town’

We love Ocean Grove! This is the fourth property we have stayed in over our years of visiting here. We loved the property, proximity to the beach and the amenities like bicycles! Beautiful home! Definitely would stay again!

Perfect Home!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is very clean and comfortable and in a great location. Check in was very simple. Jennifer is a wonderful host - very responsive and attentive. They had everything we could have needed and more. We're hoping to stay here again in the future.

Beautiful Seaside Ocean Grove

Loved this town and beautiful beach. The jetty’s and pier are amazing. Homes are exquisite with gorgeous gardens. My cup of tea for sure. Can’t wait to go back next summer. Jen’s home is comfy and inviting. So happy I chose Ocean Grove.

This home is a gem!

This Ocean Grove home was in a perfect location. Walking distance to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The home was charming with lots of character, decorated tastefully, clean and very comfortable. The host was very helpful with questions and supplied everything we needed for our stay. Perfection!

Perfection does not come close to describing this home. Everything worked as described, the host was more than helpful/friendly, and the only problem was that the week flew by and we had to leave! Holiday happiness

The ocean grove house was the perfect fit for my family of six. Jen is an amazing host. Such easy check in and out and so hospitable leaving us wine and chocolates to start our stay was super sweet. My kids came in from California for an early Christmas holiday and the place couldn’t have met our needs any better. From the adorable Christmas tree in the living room to the decorated front porch. The house is super cozy and so close to the beach. We even had time for a nice walk to asbury for coffee. We had everything we needed to cook and ample room for everyone. Thanks so much for a memorable holiday time with my family.

Winter trip for wedding

We needed somewhere to stay for a wedding nearby. It was December but we did walk down to the beach, great location if you want to stay within an easy walk to the beach. The host was very responsive to all questions asked. She went above and beyond driving to the house from her home to help us with a heating issue that was entirely our fault (turned off the main switch accidentally). She and her husband were extremely nice. The house itself is beautiful and has a lot of character. We had myself, my husband, 2 teens, and my mother. It was so nice to spread out throughout 3 bedrooms and have the downstairs space instead of being crowded in one hotel room.

The house is in a wonderful location, just a hop, skip, and jump to the beach and the cute downtown. The house itself has a nice front porch that catches the breeze and some lovely old features, such as beautiful wood stairs and an antique bed in the main bedroom. It is decorated with fun art. Prospective guests should know that the second bathroom is on the first floor, and it has no fan. It does have a window, which is very hard to access because the shade, like the ones in the main bedroom, is broken.The host asks guests to be tolerant of the age of the house, but the things that frustrated us had no relevance to that. For example, while making dinner in the oven, the kitchen became unbearably hot. Then the very loud fan went on, and couldn't be turned off. It made cooking a miserable experience. Further, the cabinets were full of crumbs and the linoleum is pitted.We couldn't get the television remotes to take us anyplace watchable.

This house on Cookman Ave was absolutely wonderful. Great location close to the beach, downtown Ocean Grove and quick in and out drive to Ashbury park restaurants and art galleries. The House was exactly as described and shown in the pictures and has everything a family needs for a week at the beach. You dont need to bring anything. The House was very clean and well maintained. The host was easily accessible by the VRBO app and was always helpful with the few questions that we had. It was lovely to hang out on the porch in the cool of the early morning and evening.
