Hillside Haven

Treat yourself to breathtaking views in this beautiful and spacious home owned by a US diplomat who enjoys time in Alaska with his family when they are not living at their duty station abroad. The home has world-class views of Cook Inlet, Mount Susitna, the Alaska Range, Fire Island, and the lights of downtown Anchorage. The location is in a quiet residential area but only eight minutes from quality restaurants and shopping and just 20 minutes to the Anchorage airport or downtown Anchorage.

This home is perfect for large groups traveling together. There are excellent opportunities for outdoor activities at many venues including Chugach State Park, Potters Marsh, Hilltop Ski Area, Hillside XC ski trails, and many others. The Seward Highway is very convenient to this property and can take visitors both north and south of Anchorage for day trips or longer excursions. This home is in an area with a great deal of wildlife. Moose, bear, lynx, snowshoe hares, rabbits, owls, and bald eagles visit periodically.

Great property with a very helpful host

Perfect Retreat for Our Family Gathering

We were in town for a wedding and had 13 guests (3 families). The house was spacious and had plenty of room for us to either spread out or get together and visit. The house had all the amenities we needed and was very clean. The host was very accommodating and responsive to any questions we had, and check-in and check-out was a breeze!

Great vacation

House was plenty large enough for our group of 11 people. Nice large living room for gathering in the evenings, and comfortable bedrooms. We saw moose and bears on the roads close by, great place for wildlife. Beau was very responsive and great to work with.

Beautiful Views and Great House

This house has one of the best sunset views we have seen! Overlooking the water the sun continuously set for over 2 hours while we were there! The house was a beautiful home with plenty of space for all of us to fit!

Beautiful home

The house and location were great. We had a group of 9 and the house accommodated us perfectly. The view from the house was amazing. On a clear day, you have a awesome view of Cook Inlet and the snow covered mountains. Beau was quick to respond to any questions, and offered suggestions on dining and activities. Would highly recommend this place.
