We loved our stay in the little seaside town. Just close enough to Dublin but far away enough to not be in the big city. Everyone in town was so glad we stayed there and supported the little town and not in Dublin. The house manual was very detailed and there was also plenty of closet space.
We really enjoyed the accommodations, the house is comfortable, the parking is gated and secure, and the location is just around the corner from restaurants, pharmacies, groceries, coffee, and the pubs. You’ve got to try the Lala restaurant just across the street, lovely people and spectacular food. We would definitely stay here again.
Our house in Balbriggan didn't disappoint it was very comfortable and cosy, supplied with everything you could possibly need for a pleasant stay.
Beach ,town and transportation excellent.Cafes , restaurants and pubs the best.We had a great time!
The property was as described. Very lovely home. It was a home away from home! Everything was very convenient from groceries, transportation, to just walking the town. And the neighbors where very friendly. I would request this home again in a future visit.
My husband's family live in Balbriggan, so it was great to find a house close to where they live. We found the heaters very confusing as they would come on for a short while and then turn off and was unable to turn them on manually. The house is close to the centre of town and it was easy to walk to the local hotels and restaurants. It was also great to have off street parking as the street has parking meters.

Kay and Philip Thank you for reviewing my property. and I am glad that your stay worked out for you all. I am very sorry for the problems with the heaters and any inconvenience it may have caused you. I will pass on that information to my property manager in case any repairs of adjustments need to be made. Thank you so much for your input. Pam
This property was just perfect and exactly what my husband and I were looking for. The property is within walking distance of pubs, cafes and restaurants that are all delicious. We also used public transportation to get to Dublin which is a quick train ride away and the train station is less than a 5 minute walk from the property. Waking up to hearing seagulls every morning was amazing, and the beach being within walking distance was also fantastic. The people of the town were so welcoming we were actually invited to a local GAA game! And told us they want us to come back! It was so amazing and we are definitely going to be back and staying at this home.

I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our house in Ireland. You are welcome back anytime.

The property was beautiful, location was perfect, train was perfect. Visited many towns, Dudlin, Malahide, Skerries, Bray, Howth and Balbriggan, what can I say. People are lovely, friendly and so kind. I wish Tom and I stayed longer. We saw a comedy show at the Lark, It's across the street. We ate at the La-La many times, best seafood chowder I ever ate, it's across the street. I truly could go on forever. Thanks Pamela, Tom and Alice from New Jersey
A great place to come home to after spending time touring the country. Very quick and easy to walk to the efficient train system, ocean, restaurants and grocery.
We stayed with our 2 older teen boys and it was perfect, in a lovely part of town, off the Main Street. We felt completely safe walking at any time of the day or night.
The home is clean, tidy and efficient. 5 stars in every area and it had everything we needed to make our stay wonderful, fully stocked kitchen, extra linens, etc.
There are some items to consider packing or buying prior to arrival that the home does not offer, which state-side VRBO's will usually have. This is not a complaint, just some knowledge to help other travelers. Consider bringing/buying a hair dryer, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, dishwasher detergent, pen/pencil & note paper. Also, depending on your length of stay, and how often you cook meals, you will likely need to buy extra paper towel/napkins & toilet paper. We had 4 people, staying for nearly a week and needed to restock.
We will rent this home again, if we get the opportunity to go back to Ireland. We have zero complaints and only praise.
Daumen hoch in allen Bereichen.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Schade......

Hans. I am very sorry that you were not able to heat the kitchen. The Digital Welcome Book that I sent you before the trip had detailed instructions about the operation of the heater, and if they did not work for you, there were contact numbers for both me and my property manager. We both tried reaching you during your stay but were never able to contact you. It is very unfortunate that you were not comfortable during your stay. I hope that you return to Ireland again and that your stay is more pleasant. Pam McMahon, owner.
What a wonderful location! Such a quant town with so much to offer. The town house is adorable, comfortable, clean and easy to access. Wonderful accommodations, the owner makes everything so easy! Friendly, helpful neighbors, close to everything, such a hidden gem of a town, we cant wait to go back! Thank you, We truly appreciated everything.
House as described, easy check in and no problems. We really enjoyed our vacation there and went on many excursions. Public transport (bus and train) perfect.
We'd love to come back.
It is a beautiful, tidy homely house just five minutes from the beach. We have missed nothing and felt quite at home there.

About the host
Hosted by Pam McMahon
My husband grew up in Balbriggan and has maintained a strong fondness for his hometown. We have visited Balbriggan many times over the last 40 years with our children, in-laws and friends.
My husband passed away in January of 2016 after a very long illness. Although he had not been able to visit his homeland for a long time, I frequently made the trip and renewed many long time friendships and recalled many wonderful times we had enjoyed together in Ireland.
Why they chose this property
Balbriggan is my husband's hometown. Owning a townhome here has enabled us to frequently visit Balbriggan and see family and friends.
What makes this property unique
When we return to Balbriggan we enjoy going to the local pubs to see our old friends and experience the music and culture of a small Irish town.
