Situated overlooking the quiet Turtle Beach Cove on the renowned South East Peninsula is a very peaceful and private charming cottage.

Enjoy your morning coffee while watching the pelicans dive for their breakfast. Keep an eye out for sea turtles on the amazing reef just below the cottage. Hummingbirds buzz around you in the gardens surrounding the cottage.

Have a sunset drink and be amazed at the outstanding view of Nevis in the distance. Watch the colors fade as yachts and sailing boats sail off into the blue caribbean waters at days end.


Ocean Song Cottage is a island style designed cottage, with hard woods, natural stone, walliba shingle, granite, marble, and antique bricks and tiles, and hand cut stone. There is a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Antique and custom designed furnishings and prints, King Size bed, a selection of books and window seat. Outdoor shower with natural stone. A built in seating and lounging area with private garden. There is also high speed internet and Cable TV.

The cottage sits upon the hillside next door to our main Ocean Song Villa (VRBO 379977). Let prevailing winds and ceiling fan will cool you as the waves lull you to sleep.
From the car park there are approximately 22 stone steps up to the cottage with no hand rails.

This cozy cottage, situated in lush tropical foliage with breathtaking Ocean views, is a few minutes walk to Turtle Beach which has one of the best coral reefs for snorkeling on the island.

Within a few minutes’ walk of the cottage you will be on the beach where you can snorkel, swim or relax under a shady tree, and enjoy the inviting views of the reef, Booby Island and Nevis directly in front. Or beach comb the shallow sandy pools and turtle grass beds along the shore.

Ocean Song Cottage guests have the use of a private and spacious beach front lounge a few minutes walk away at the Turtle Beach Cottage. Villa and cottage guests along with the guests of the top floor apartment at Turtle Beach Cottage will enjoy the exclusive use of the spacious beach front lounge with honour bar, complimentary beach lounge chairs outdoor shower & washroom. The best accessible coral reef on island for snorkelling is right outfront of the beach lounge. This is also one of the best bays on island for Kite Surfing.

Cockleshell Beach is approx. 15 minutes walk along the beach and across the dune. Reggae Beach Bar and Grill, Lion Rock and Spice Mill restaurants are all located there, where you will have your choice of beach casual or Gourmet. A wide variety of water sports are located at Cockleshell , as well as a sailing school. Water Taxis to Nevis are also available from Reggae Beach bar and the Drive on car Ferry is a 5 minute drive away at Majors Bay.

Frigate Bay, is a 15 minute drive away where you will find The St Kitts Marriott Resort and casino, as well as a variety of restaurants, shops, health spa, fitness center and 18 hole championship golf course.

Gorgeous location!

We loved Ocean Song Cottage! The cottage itself is beautiful and well appointed with everything you need. The location is gorgeous--off the beaten track with no crowds or traffic. The bedroom view in the morning and the outside stone decks are absolutely amazing! The private beach is just a few minutes walk down the street and was perfect! Franklin answered every questions we had and helped us book a day trip to Nevis. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanted a quiet, beautiful time away!

Excellent cottage

Wife and I just returned from one week stay for anniversary. Was more impressed with cottage then we anticipated. Owner was great to work with on reservation. Franklin was the best on making sure we had what we needed at cottage. We visited Marriott in St Kitts and Four Season Nevis and wife and I both agreed that we would not want to switch places with the cottage. View is fantastic. Has everything you could need in kitchen. Outdoor shower will make you wish you had one at home. Great stay.

Turtle Bay

While the views from the VRBO were undeniably beautiful, several aspects of our stay were problematic.The 22 steps leading up to the cottage were not only uneven, as noted by previous reviewers, but also obstructed by overgrown vegetation, making it impossible to stand upright while going up and down the stairs. This created a significant inconvenience and safety concern.On our last night, we unexpectedly lost access to running water, making the toilet and shower unusable. The following morning, as we were departing, we contacted the property manager to report the issue. We attempted to use the restroom in the house closest to the water, but the provided key did not fit the door, leaving us without a solution for several hours.Additionally, the dirt roads leading to the house were riddled with enormous potholes, making travel difficult. The proximity of a septic sewer pond also resulted in an unpleasant odor while traveling the roads in and out of Turtle Bay.While the views were stunning, these challenges significantly impacted our experience. Future guests may want to be aware of these issues before booking.

Outstanding Stay

Pictures don’t do justice of the unspoiled beauty of the location. Initially, I was apprehensive to travel to St. Kitts alone but I had no need to worry. Penny, Ricky and Franklin took care of everything before I thought to ask. The interior was spacious and welcoming. They thoughtfully arranged food to start me off on my vacation. Franklin showed me where everything was inside and outside. The beach was beautiful and most days had it all to myself. As soon as I got use to going up and down the stairs at the cottage it was time for my to return home. I will definitely be back. Karin

STUNNING VIEWS!

6 fabulous days we will never forget! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Given that this was going to be a relatively short stay, we opted not to rent a car and just enjoy staying at Ocean Song Charming Cottage (which was even more beautiful than pictured) and explore the local area. When Penny and Ricky realized that we were serious about going without wheels for a week, they asked Franklin (the caretaker) to pick us up at the airport and the ride to Turtle Beach included a stop at the grocery store (which is most certainly not within walking distance) and thanks to Franklin, we were indeed set for the week. We had the choice of the quiet beach down at the lounge, or the beach with restaurants / bars just a 10 minute walk from there. We could have taken a boat trip to Nevis , a bike trip on e-bikes…all accessible with a short walk. With a little luck, maybe those e-bikes will be available to rent when we go back :-) Thank you Penny, Ricky and Franklin for making this vacation one of our best! Kay and Fred from Maine

MAGICAL LITTLE COTTAGE WITH THE BEST VIEWS ON THE ISLAND

This little gem is the perfect getaway. My husband and I used to go to school here on the island 7 years ago where we met, and we returned this week for our honeymoon. To us, this is the best area to stay, and the cottage itself if so beautiful and cozy. The view you wake up to from your bed can't be beat. Even though the cottage is right next to the main house, some how we never once heard the people staying next door. It is so quiet and relaxing to listen to the waves crashing at night. The house on the beach was a great bonus too! There are kayaks, snorkels, stand up paddle boards and so much more, it was a blast. You 100% need a car here to explore everything St. Kitts has to offer. Our favorites for the daytime are Shipwreck (best conch fritters), Reggae Beach (BBCs, YUM!) and Belle Mont Farms on Kittitian Hill (Its on the other side of the island but worth the drive). We also recommend Marshall's for dinner (sea bass is unreal) and if you make it to Nevi's, a Killer Bee from Sunshine's Bar is a MUST! I highly recommend this place as well as the other two rentals. Beautiful and peaceful little cottage

I had wanted to stay here for 2 years and I finally had an opportunity to stay in St Kitts for a week at the Ocean song cottage! Wow. I loved every minute of it. It's the sweetest little place and exactly as the pictures show. I enjoyed seeing the gorgeous view of Nevis from the bed in the morning and as the day goes by, how the clouds and sun and weather changes, it is simply a stunning site. The stairs were a small challenge with luggage and groceries, but as the week went on, I got used to them! It was good exercise after eating a yummy breakfast at the nearby Park Hyatt hotel. The cottage living space was the perfect size. At first I didn't think I would like the outdoor shower but it was amazing. I would have liked a small teak bench to help with shaving my legs, but I loved the view while showering. Bed was very comfy too. The best part was having the solitude of the cottage and then the opportunity to use the beach cottage during the day. It was the perfect combination of mountain side view and right on the beach experience. Perfect perfect perfect! Turtle Bay beach is so beautiful and natural. Nothing better than a whole day lying in the sun, swimming in the water and having a nice area to snack and hang out with a few drinks and relax. There is a bathroom and outdoor shower available too. Penny and Rick thought of everything to make their guests happy in this lovely beachfront cottage and it was a fantastic experience. I need to come back soon!!!!

Our Most Relaxing Caribbean Stay Yet

If you're looking for a quintessential Caribbean-y place to relax and seriously decompress, as we were, look no further. This cottage is so cozy, quaint and comfortable. The side patio was our go-to place for hours every morning; the beach cottage or our balcony was our go-to place in the evening. Afternoons, we spent at the beach cottage....if you have your own private beach and honor bar, why would you feel a need to go anywhere else? Unfortunately during our stay, the hurricanes had washed a bunch of seaweed onto the beach, so we passed on snorkeling. But, that in no way, diminished our vacation. We loved the decor in the cottage...it took us a week to discover and enjoy all the treasures that Ricky and Penny had placed everywhere. We were still discovering new fun things on our last day as we were packing up. The Reggae Beach Bar and Grill ended up being the go to place during our stay. The employees made us feel like loved locals (even though we'd be leaving in a week), the rum punches were killer, and their food was quite good. I am not a coconut fan and yet I loved their coconut shrimp...had an order every visit. And we're so glad we had the opportunity to enjoy their lobster buffet twice during our stay. Two other spots we enjoyed were Salt Plage for a cocktail (or two) during sunset and Spice Mill for the food and atmosphere. Can't finish this review without mentioning our hosts. We only had the pleasure of meeting Ricky, (Penny was in Canada). He is so personable and was so thorough in showing us around the cottage, recommending great places to dine, and showing us around both of the other rental properties in his portfolio. We had the pleasure of touring the three-bedroom villa next to our cottage and it looks so beautiful and comfortable! We're already recruiting friends and family for a stay in 2019 and can't wait! Side notes: Love an outdoor shower! Have never woken up to a Peeping-Tom monkey, but very amusing!

Wow! The view from the outdoor sitting area of turtle beach and of Nevis was amazing. Even though the cottage is next to the villa, the outdoor sitting area is completely separate and private.

Ocean Song Cottage-A real treasure

We found the cottage perfectly charming. Ricky and Penny created such a comfortable and unique island cottage. We fully enjoyed the outdoor spaces, with a birds eye view of Nevis, and lovely ocean breezes. We spent some time at the beach lounge, soaking up the sun and playing in the ocean. A BIG shout out to Franklyn! He was an absolute gem, from meeting us "late" the evening of check-in, to arranging a safe ride to and from Port Zante so we could fully enjoy a catamaran snorkel tour with an open bar. We'd recommend this sweet cottage to any couple looking for a quiet and romantic setting to call home while visiting St. Kitts

10th Anniversary Getaway

2nd time staying at Ocean Song Charming cottage. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Spent most of our time in the Turtle Beach area as we did most of the upper part of St. Kitts on previous trips. Views from property are unsurpassed. Used kitchen for breakfast every morning and for some supplemental snacks on some days. Rental car helped alot for venturing to hiking, snorkeling, and dining. We enjoyed the peace and relaxation of this place even more than last visit since we know what we are doing!!

Perfect Romantic Getaway

Fabulous view at this lovely property in a great location on St. Kitts! The outdoor spaces are really beautiful and the indoor space well thought out and very comfortable. Very easy to while away the hours reading on the patio and enjoy the visiting monkeys, but you'll want to go down to Turtle Beach to swim and snorkel on this almost deserted stretch of beach. Would strongly recommend and would come back in the future.

Wish we didn’t have to leave…

This was our second time staying here. First was 2019, then we booked in 2021 but had to cancel because of Covid. (The owners were amazing about cancelling - they kept us updated on the constantly changing regulations.) So this trip was long overdue and didn’t disappoint. It’s a perfect set-up for a couple. You have the privacy of staying in your own place but all the amenities of staying in a resort - an exclusive “beach club”, views, private patio. Loved that there is extra closet space / desk space now - a smart upgrade since so many people work remotely now. Franklyn, their property manager, is amazing. Welcomed us on arrival. Thanks & can’t wait to be back!!!

Paradise And Then Some

If you're looking for the perfect tropical getaway with the best views ever, this property is that and more. The photos online are amazing, but can't quite capture the full beauty of the views from here. You have so many different perches on the property to choose from. There is so much to see and do on the island, and Ricky and Franklyn are full of suggestions on what to see and do. Franklyn is amazing to assist with setting up things. When we wanted to take our rental car to Nevis via the car ferry, he suggested riding over on the passenger ferry and taking a tour with a guide. It was the best decision ever. We met the most amazing woman in Hilarena who showed off her beautiful homeland of Nevis, which included a delightful stop for lunch and another pit stop to soak in some hot springs. Back on St. Kitts, Reggaes Beach Bar is five minutes away and a place with good food and great drinks. The Friday night lobster/shrimp/ribs/fish buffet -- with a live band -- was a delight. The beach house you have access to is similarly a treasure. Your own private beach with maybe one or two people around, if that. Delightful views of Nevis and the blue-green waters and great options for snorkeling or shellcombing. There's an honor bar where you can enjoy your favorite adult beverages. You can easily walk from the cottage to the beach house down a short road. And you might even spot a monkey or two along the way. Best vacation ever at the best cottage ever. We highly recommend!

Amazing place with unbelievable views!

Prior reviews really tell the story of the amazing property and are all accurate. 5 stars all the way! This place has all the amenities you need for amazing vacation. We loved the outside shower and soaker tub… We enjoyed our morning coffee while looking out at Nevis. Breathtaking! You also have access to a private entrance to Turtle beach where they have loungers, bathroom and honor bar which is really unique. Beach chairs and a cooler are provided to explore other beaches. We went to Sand bank bay which was on the Atlantic side and had big waves. It was lovely…we were the only 2 people on the beach. The property location is close to some of the best restaurants on the island but you will need a car(jeep)..we used Bullseye and they were wonderful as they will meet you at airport and take you to your car. Franklyn(property manager) was easy to get in touch with via What’s app if needed. He also arranged a private tour of Nevis for us. We had a driver for 4 hours to explore and see the hot spots and enjoyed lunch at Golden Rock with a stop at “Sunshine’s” for a killer B. Can’t miss that! Our favorite restaurant was Orchid Bay(not even close). It’s expensive but an experience and shouldn’t be missed Go for sunset! We had so much food that we had left overs for 2 nights so net net it wasn’t that bad! Don’t look any further if you want a romantic getaway! Sit back, relax and enjoy the monkey's!

Why they chose this property

Turtle Beach is located on the South East Peninsula of
St Kitts which we think is the best part of the island. You will NEVER hear the ongoing NOISE of cars/trucks/motorcycles or experience traffic like the Frigate Bay area. It's all about the sounds of the surf, bird song and nature! 5 minutes drive will take you to some of the islands BEST restaurants and more fabulous beaches. A QUICK water taxi to our neighbouring island of NEVIS will bring you to more great restaurants, history and charm of the Caribbean!
