This was the best getaway space. If you are looking to totally unwind and relax, this is the place to do it. Gorgeous views and amazing sunsets. It was perfect.
Beautiful treehouse hideaway with seriously AMAZING views. Absolutely worth it! Be prepared for for mountain roads getting there. Very steep and winding in places with bumbs and runts. Nothing surprising but just make sure not to plan on taking a rear wheel drive low rider or hauling a large trailer down there.
If you're looking for a quiet, secluded, and romantic getaway - this is it! The views were breathtaking and the cabin has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway. The only comment I would make is to be very careful driving in. The road is carved out of the mountainside and the turns are very sharp. We were in a 4x4 truck so it wasn't a deal for us, but I could definitely see it being a little weary in a car. Be mindful and you should be just fine!
Beautiful, quiet, peaceful location, the treehuse was beautiful. But it was built for people over 6 ft tall.the shower did not work for her. The shower head was to high and water pressure too low for here to wash her hair.
The accommodations were perfect! The views are beautiful! Mochael is a great host. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The stay was very peaceful and view was amazing. The gravel road made my wife a little nerves but if you have AWD or 4wheel drive there won't be any type of problem. The bed is very soft so you can remove some of the toppers if it causes a issue for yourself.
Is what you say driving up to the tree house and the whole time you are there every time you look out at the view. It was a perfect place to unplug and unwind! Did not want to leave!
Stayed 2 nights at Crockett’s escape treehouse. Communication with property owner was great and check in process very smooth. Cabin was very clean and the view was pretty amazing. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area
Overall I rate this charming little treehouse with 3 stars. It has a lot of potential but needs a couple upgrades to be a comfortable stay.
1. The mattress has no support. We didn’t sleep well and woke up in pain. By day two, I removed the 4” memory foam from the bed, that helped some but not a lot.
2. The couch is very uncomfortable. You can feel the frame when sitting and when laying down there is a bar that sticks you. The furniture is very firm.
3. The tub is not very deep and the hot water tank does not fill the tub with hot water. You end up partial submerged in luke warm water. The water pressure in the shower is very low.
I stayed a week here for a relaxing vacation. If the bed and couch were more comfortable, this would’ve been the perfect vacation.
Secluded, awesome view; def need all wheel drive...
We could have easily just lived on the deck the whole time, due to the view, privacy and quiet (LOVED!!!)
This is the type of place where you could probably wander around nude with no worries being seen, LMAO!
OR if you never want to be found, lol!
HUGE, beautiful picture windows to watch big birds soar over the lake, a hot tub surrounded by windows on 3 sides to gaze out (we didn't use), real wood burning fireplace, (VERY important to us, for our selection of a place to stay), full size appliances, cute breakfast nook with more big windows, AWESOME mattress was SOoo comfy!!
Nice, comfy sofa for cozy-ing into while watching the huge TV, excellent WiFi connection - and pets welcome!
Our two dogs liked exploring the nearby woods.
There are 17 steps, if anyone has knee, hip or ankle issues (we don't, so it was fine).
Cute loft; ladder is steep.
Open floor plan; no private bedroom.
Def need an all wheel or 4 wheel drive (we have an all wheel SUV, so it was tense but fine); the unpaved road is narrow and steep in places for the last few mins to/from the cabin.
Watch for signs; easy to get lost, especially once dark.
Bring plenty of food, cuz it's a long trek if you intend to go out to eat. :)
This treehouse is AMAZING! The view is gorgeous. The area is so quiet and peaceful. The road leading to the treehouse may be a little unnerving for some. The host is great and provides excellent communication. This was pur 1st stay here, but definitely won't be pur last. Highly recommend!
