This place was absolutely amazing! It was clean, cozy, and had such a relaxing vibe that made it the perfect place to unwind after long days of hiking. The bed was incredibly comfortable and exactly what we needed to rest and recharge for the next day's adventures. The sauna was an especially wonderful bonus after spending so much time on the trails. Everything about our stay made it feel like a little retreat, and it was the perfect home base for exploring the area. We couldn't have asked for a better place to come back to at the end of each day. If you're looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and cozy place to stay in the area, I highly recommend this spot. We absolutely loved our stay!

From the first communication to the last turn of the lock, this was a great stay. Comfortable space, well laid out, very clean, good ambiance inside and out. Stove keeps the house warm which is a big deal when it’s cool and foggy and we could close off the bedroom so it stayed cool. Lots of windows for light and air when the sun was out. Note that there is a step up into the bathroom. Lots of counter space and hooks for hanging things all through the house. Great shower with excellent water pressure. The owners live on site in an attached house but we never noticed them. We did meet their friendly dog Osho as he made his nightly round. Great privacy with superb communication. Good central location with lots of places to walk, restaurants and grocery within a short drive. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

This is the perfect property to explore Humboldt County. Very Private. The landscaping is very calming. My dog Wilson had his own private yard just off the bedroom. The accommodation was very calming. You could feel the pride the owners put into the property to make it a great experience. I'm already booked in September. I can't wait.

Everything about our stay was GREAT! My husband enjoyed the sauna and my favorite part was relaxing on the couch with the fireplace going after rock hunting at the beach. No issues and plenty of amenities...we will be back!

Lovely stay

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here with our 2 little dogs. The sauna was especially nice, but it is also a nice location to get to a lot of beaches and forests!

Amazing stay, incredibly peaceful, the space is so thoughtful and relaxing. The fireplace is so cozy, the sauna is heavenly, great location, private fenced backyard perfect for pups, and the cherry on top is the landscaping- it’s botanical garden level. Very private, our dog is reactive and the owners are careful to not let their dog interact with ours. The kitchen is stoked with pans and anything you could need. Shower pressure is great. We’ve stayed here twice and can’t wait for our next visit!
