Not what we expected
I do want to start with I was born and raised on Hollywood Beach so I know having people dry on the beach and it’s appeal. We were expecting the beautifully renovated apartment literally steps from the sand, and that was not the case. The location of the apartment was absolutely the best. Parking was not an issue at any point of the day, which was a plus. The apartment itself was not the best. While it is exactly what the pictures show, it was not an accurate presentation of the apartment. We didn’t have cleanliness issues when we first arrived, and I immediately reached out to the owner and he was very nice and responsive. Because of the issues with bed linens and furniture, we did ask for new linens, which the owner brought over along with an iron, but ultimately we did end up getting our own just to feel more comfortable. Also, not the owners fault, but whomever lives above the apartment was the nosiest person ever. We constantly heard stomping, running and doors slamming in the above apartment, but as for noise outside or from the beach or anything, it was so quiet. All in all, we have great communication with the owner, but just the state of the apartment was not something my family and I were comfortable with to book again. If you’re fine with a lowkey beach location this is the place to stay.
