About this property

Cozy home in El Camino Village. 20 Minutes from the beach and LAX

Come stay at a quiet neighborhood that we have chosen to raise our family in! Due to family reasons, we are currently living in Japan, but plan on moving back one day. In the meantime, we are renting it out for others to also enjoy a nice relaxing stay while travelling in the Socal area.

Our home is conveniently located southwest of downtown Los Angeles, and only a 20 min taxi ride from LAX. It is a relatively safe neighborhood, where I often took my kids for walks around the block in the afternoon. There is a super market and 7-11 within walking distance (8 min).

You can also enjoy a leisurely walk down to Alondra park to enjoy the view. Be sure to also check out the Splash Pad and skate park when you are there. If you are a golf fanatic, the Alondra Golf course is a 18 hole par 3 course which is right next to the park.

If you need to go out further, there's also easy access to public transport. To get on the Metro, it is a 5 min walk to the bus station, 15 min ride on the bus to get to the Metro Crenshaw Station. The Metro can take you up to Hollywood for some sightseeing or out to Santa Monica to enjoy a stroll along the beach.

Our home is a cozy house with 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom. The kitchen has all the essentials to cook a meal at home. In the living room we have a 55" smart TV with Netflix. There is also a table for you to setup your mobile workstation. 300Mbps internet connection connected to Linksys Velop Mesh routers provide fast internet anywhere in the house.

My brother is helping us manage the property and will be in the detached garage in the backyard and available to take care of any issues you might have.

Good value for the price!

The host was very communicative and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with the basics. It could’ve been a little cleaner, we did notice some dirt spots on walls/ dishes that needed to be washed, but definitely recommend if you need a stay in the LA area!

Really enjoyed our stay in LA

This house was the perfect size for the three of us for our fourth of July vacation to LA. It is fully decked out with everything you need and we were able to cook breakfast a few days and everything. Quiet neighborhood except on the 4th of course but that was expected and boy do they go crazy with it. Otherwise, it was nice and so close to the beaches! Loved it! We would definitely go back if we need it again.

Another great stay at David's place

I have stayed at David's place before, and once again, it was ideal for my trip. A quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors, off-street parking in the driveway, a comfortable king-size bed, and washer & dryer, etc. David is very responsive. I would stay there again.

Sport Venue Trip

Met our needs. Clean and well stocked Nice neighborhood. Communication with host was good. We could not get the furnace turned on but eventually used an alternate heat source. Good location for the three sports venues we attended.

A great place for a trip to L.A.

My son and I stayed here for a week in mid-October of 2023. The location was great for our purposes. I really liked the off-street parking in the driveway and the washer & dryer (with a steam function) were very useful. Communication with the host was great. Would consider this place again for a future trip.

As the kids have gotten older, a house is so much easier than a hotel! We had great communication with David, and having a home base worked out great for us. Comfortable beds and pillows! Always a lucky find!

Great place to stay!

Very nice simple home. And at a great price! Has everything you need. Would stay there again when I’m visiting family! Warning to anyone who sleeps in the living room with the heater on, the heater makes clicking noises making it hard to sleep. But that’s not anything that can be fixed.

Peaceful and safe home in great area

45 mins to downtown LA And hollywood (the distance is small but the traffic is busy!) Suited our needs well. Great to have washer/drier on our road trip... the lounge kitchen and bedroom 1 were all perfect. Bedroom 2 needs some attention/redecoration but we were informed of this the day before our arrival. Its a good place to.stay for 2 or 4 people, and only 30 mins to.disney in good traffic.

Working While Travelling

Was working while travelling. It was very easy log-in to the internet. The house was very comfortable and the three of us enjoyed staying in this home. Communication with the owner was great , very simple and responsive. Will stay again in the future.

Very quiet neighborhood and nice home, but I wish the room next to the kitchen had a door and window. I woke up every time someone used the kitchen 😅, but other than that, everything perfect 👍

Basic accommodations, good location

Good location for where we had plans. We had to hunt for towels and toilet paper (1 towel in bathroom and half roll of tp) Second bedroom is actually a converted room so no door and mildewed, warped ceiling tiles in places. Very kind owner. Good place if you want very bare bones and nothing extra. Safe neighborhood yoo, very quiet.

Nice place and neighborhood

Nothing fancy, but everything one needs in the LA-area. A car is necessary in this area, but access to the major freeways is close and the neighborhood seemed quiet and safe. The owner was friendly and returned my call and helped me to resolve the issue effectively when I had a question. No complaints!
