Beautiful cabin on a beautiful lake! Awesome view from the cabin! Only a few cabins on Smith Lake and the rest is National Forest land. Therefore, it is very peaceful and quiet.

The Cozy Stone Cottage is remarkable to look at, made mostly of river rock both inside and out. So cool! But it is also remarkably clean and well appointed, well stocked with everything I even thought I might need. I was concerned that we wouldn't have the solitude we were looking for but that, too, was exactly as we hoped. Even though there are several other buildings nearby, the cottage is situated in a way that gave us the feeling we were entirely alone on the lake. Thank you, Sandra!

We had a lovely time. The only issue was the lights above the kitchen counter not working as we spoke about. Thank you for everything. Carla and Sharon

We SO enjoyed this little place. It is a gem & just what we were looking for. There is everything you would need: coffee pot & Keurig, microwave, toaster, pots & pans, crockpot, towels - everything of home. The owner is very responsive to questions. We loved it & hope to return!!

The cabin was quaint and so comfortable. Hearing the loons on the still lake was so relaxing. Thanks for having us.

Unique Cabin

The stone cottage was a great place to stay for our fall trip to northern Minnesota. Grouse hunting close by and a cute, comfortable cabin to relax in. It contained everything we needed to make our stay pleasurable, including lots of towels, comfortable beds, great shower, plenty of kitchen supplies, and a nice Keurig coffeemaker. Cozy decor yet updated and very clean. Beautiful views from the large deck. We’d love to go back!

Very remote and quiet. Not to far from Grand Rapids which is what I was looking for. We had our boat on the lake. We caught enough fish for a meal. The public boat landing is not great but it’s not any fault of the property it is what it is. We made it work. The kitchen was beautiful and up to date, all in all it was a great experience. The cabin fit the bill perfectly.

Family Get Away

I loved the property. My only disappointment was that the fireplace cannot be used. The host says plans are for a gas insert and that would make this wonderful cabin perfect. There are several cabins around it but our weekend was very quiet. I'm not sure what summer would be like.
