Independant gîte in the garden of the historique Mas Guizot, with a private terrace and access to the gardens and swimming pool.
Close to the beautiful towns of Uzès, Nîmes, Anduze and the National Parks of the Camargue and the Cévennes. The train station is only 5 minutes walk from the house. The village of St Géniès de Malgoirès has bakeries, a supermarket and other commerces.

We moved to this beautiful historic property in 2020 and have been welcoming guests here to share in the pleasure of our peaceful environment. Philippe and I both enjoy cooking, music, art and gardening. We have two friendly black Labradors, Nola and Todd.

Why they chose this property

Mas Guizot is a beautiful property and the gite was formerly a farm building with a wine cellar below it. Guests have a private terrace, sharing only the gardens and pool with the hosts. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. If you need to work during your stay there is a computer desk and chair available or you can relax and enjoy the tranquil setting from a hammock by the pool.

What makes this property unique

Very quiet and restful place to stay after a day of visiting the local UNesco sites in Vezenobres, Nimes or Pont du Gard, or the beautiful town of Uzes or Sommieres, kayaking on the Gardon river, walking in the mountains or exploring the local events.

Trains and buses run from the station in the village 5 minutes walk from the house and the village has a supermarket and shops within walking distance.
