Brignon - 18th century house

We had nice and relaxing days in Brignon. The 18 century house was the perfect place to stay during the very hot days. The owner Catherine gave us very nice tips and tricks for visites in the neighbourhood. We enjoyed the view in the garden and the lovely swimmingpool.

Our family had lovely two summer weeks at Catherine’s place. She is an exceptionaly caring host. Appartment, Pool and location overall are beautiful. Inside the appartment it was always cool without air-con. Brignon is a nice historic place, but parking space is limited. Unfortunately no shop, bakery or cafe are in walking distance. Anyway this place is highly recommended.

We had a fantastic holiday staying in Catherine and Marc-Antoine's beautiful home. It was super hot in the week that we stayed and the stone house was a brilliant place to cool down naturally, not to mention the fabulous pool available to us.The house was ideally located for our multiple trips to surrounding places, and we particularly enjoyed Nimes and Uzes. We had some family fun with day trips to the Aqua Forest and Kayaking under the Pont Du Gard.Catherine was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations and so we had a wonderful week and I would thoroughly recommend to anyone interested in visiting this region of France.

Wow wow wow

Who would have thought that a simple VRBO search for " Private Pool " would lead to us spending our wedding anniversary in such an idilic oasis as this. The apartment is beautiful. The outside space and garden are gorgeous. And the pool is simply stunning. Catherine and Marc-Antoine are lovely and couldn't have been more helpful, Catherine even recommended and booked a restaurant for our anniversary. All in all an amazing property with amazing hosts.

“My favorite birthday ever”

I took Sarah, my significant other, to Catherine and Marc-Antoine’s place for her birthday. Our hosts shared enough knowledge, kindness, and hospitality to make it her “favorite birthday ever”. This was our first time in the south of France and so I could have really screwed up the trip. But our hosts helped us get the most of our time. The property is beautiful — an 18th century wonder — the pool is relaxing and the surrounding countryside is world-class. Book without hesitation.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement. Tout était très propre et conforme à la description. La piscine a été un vrai bonheur pour se détendre et profiter du soleil. L’absence de télévision nous a permis de vraiment déconnecter, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Le cadre est calme et reposant, idéal pour se ressourcer. Merci encore pour l’accueil et la disponibilité, nous gardons un très bon souvenir de ce séjour et nous recommandons vivement cette adresse !

Authentiek en charmant verblijf

Wij hebben erg genoten van een week vakantie op de benedenverdieping van het huis van Cathérine en Marc-Antoine. Allereerst valt op hoe authentiek het verblijf is en hoe smaakvol het is ingericht. Dit is ver boven de standaard van vele vakantieverblijven. Het terras, zwembad en tuin zijn bijzonder aangenaam, zeer proper en zeer rustig. Ook hier valt op hoe goed alles onderhouden wordt. De bovenverdiepingen worden bewoond door de eigenaars en gebruik van het zwembad is gedeeld, maar dat is geen enkel probleem. Privacy is gegarandeerd. Catherine staat steeds klaar met tips over de regio. Brignon is een klein, rustig en charmant dorpje. Je kan er ‘s morgens bij de bar tabac vers brood en croissants halen en een koffietje drinken. Het is een ideale uitvalsbasis om de streek te verkennen. Deze plek is ideaal voor wie op zoek is naar rust in een authentieke en mooie omgeving.

Très beau séjour

Lieu magnifique pour mêler farniente et visite d’une très belle région. Très belle maison fraîche, calme et sans vis-à-vis. Les propriétaires sont chaleureux, accueillants et devancent nos besoins. Un oasis pour des vacances parfaites

C'est un peu larme à l'oeil que nous avons quitté Brignon au bout de nos vacances: nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce très bel objet parfaitement conçu et situé. L'intérieur est aménagé avec goût et équippé de tout ce dont on a besoin. Grâce à sa position il nous a permis d'échapper aux températures estivales la nuit. Et qu'est-ce qu'on a apprécié cette belle piscine! En outre, pour nous, c'était le point de départ idéal pour nos sorties culturelles/ dans la nature. Calme et reposant

Très bien accueilli par Catherine et Marc Antoine avec un apéritif, maison très agréable avec ses murs et plafonds en pierres qui donne un très bon cachet et permet d'avoir une température idéale en journée comme la nuit, un très jolie jardin arboré avec piscine tout aussi agréable. Catherine et Marc Antoine nous ont donné de bons conseils pour les visites et les ballades de la région, une adresse que nous recommandons.

Wunderschön!

Wir haben einen tollen Urlaub in Brignon verbracht! Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und der Pool traumhaft. Brignon ist sehr klein, aber es gibt einen Bäcker und in der Umgebung gibt es sehr viele Ausflugsziele für die ganze Familie. Catherine und Marc-Antoine haben uns sehr nett empfangen und uns tolle Tipps gegeben für unseren Urlaub. Ich hoffe sehr, dass wir irgendwann wieder unseren Urlaub in Brignon in diesem traumhaften Haus mit seinen liebenswerten Vermietern verbringen können!

Heel mooie en nette woning. Goed uitgerust (toestellen, keukengerei,...). Aangenaam zwembad (zout, zeker een plus). Vlotte communicatie met de eigenaars (hadden talrijke tips voor bezoeken of uitstappen in de streek).

Paradisiaque !

Bien sûr il y a les photos, très belles, qui illustrent parfaitement ce lieu soigné, bien pensé et confortable. Mais les images ne savent pas tout dévoiler… et il y a beaucoup à dire ! Des hôtes attentionnés, des parfums délicats, une propreté impeccable, un aménagement très haut de gamme et généreux, un bien-être infini. Ce lieu est un paradis, que notre mémoire gardera précieusement. Merci Catherine et Marc-Antoine !

Für Genießer, die kein Programm brauchen

Fünf Sterne für alle, die sich einfach nur erholen wollen. Brignon ist ein kleiner Ort wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Es gibt kein Restaurant und keinen Supermarkt; keinen Andenkenladen und keinen Autovermieter. Es gibt eine Schule, ein Café, eine Apotheke und an jeder Ecke neue Fotomotive. Und Ecken, Treppen, Bogengänge, schmale Gassen und verblüffende Ausblicke hat Brignon mehr als genug. Wer dort Urlaub macht, sollte sich selbst genug sein und braucht einen Mietwagen - aber einen möglichst kleinen, um durch das Labyrinth der schmalen Straßen zu manövrieren. Ausflüge zum Meer, in die Camargue,den Cevennen-Nationalpark, in die prachtvollen alten Städte Nîmes, Montpelier, Avignon oder Uzès: Es liegt alles vor der Tür. Aber wenn einen die entspannte Ruhe von Brignon erst einmal richtig gepackt hat, dann will man eigentlich den ganzen Tag auf der schattigen Terrasse oder neben dem geräumigen Swimmingpool verbringen und unendlich faul sein. Die Vermieter: charmant und herzlich. Die Unterkunft: Ungewöhnlich. Faszinierend. Ein bisschen "höhlenartig", aber mit allem, was frau und man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Für uns war's garantiert nicht das letzte mal!

Super hot here...you would definitely not sleep with a duvet ;-) Pool is at 31 degrees and getting warmer!
