We absolutely loved the place. Hope to stay there again in the future. Would be great for larger groups as well. Wish we had more time to enjoy the lake.
We just left Loon Cove after staying for a week. This was the second summer we vacationed here. The house and access to the pond are excellent. The kitchen is well appointed and we had lovely meals at the big table. The beds are all very comfortable. Sitting on the deck listening to the water lap the pond edge is incredibly relaxing. I can’t say enough good things about the home and our week there. Thank you very much for a memorable vacation.
Beautiful, clean, spacious home for our 2 families. Kitchen is very well stocked, beds comfortable, large porch and lots of indoor and outdoor games. Our favorite part was the dock on Toddy Pond - so easy to access the water and just relax and enjoy the view. We would love to return!

The L-shaped aluminum dock that extends into the water is new in 2026. So glad u enjoyed it!
Great place to stay, nice location. The lake was awesome. The house had plenty of room and and everything you would ever need. Actually the pictures didn't do it justice we were surprised at the room and layout of the house when we got there. We would reccomend this place to anyone
Entire house was like walking into someone’s home…fully stocked, beds were amazing, owner doesn’t scrimp on anything, beautiful place and we unfortunately didn’t get a chance to enjoy half of it.
What an amazing location! The home had everything we needed for an incredibly wonderful stay. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck with our wine to talk about our day. It was really spacious and comfortable!
8 of us stayed here and it was a great house! Cooked 2 big dinners and we had everything that we needed for both! It's a little off the beaten path, but we did love it! Even saw a few baby deer!
Great place to stay, plenty of room for our family. We did not use the lake as we intended because it was not easy to get down to the water.

There are railroad tie steps and a lovely path to the water. As it is a wooded property, there are some roots and rocks along the path as one would expect. Absolutely no issue for majority of travelers, as other reviews attest.
This lovely home on Toddy Pond was the perfect place to rest, recharge, and reconnect with family. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and taking advantage of the beautiful lake on the water floats provided. The property is beautiful, private and peaceful. We were sorry to see our week come to an end!
We had a lovely week visiting family in Blue Hill and being with one another in a very comfortable house. We enjoyed the pond and the beautiful surroundings - walking, running, kayaking, floating, swimming. Listening to the loons and star gazing on quiet nights. The kitchen was well appointed so cooking meals was a joy. Everyone thought the beds were very comfortable. All in all a wonderful stay!
Beautiful, spacious house. More than enough room for our group of 2 grandparents, 2 adults and 2 teens. Very relaxing with amazing views of the lake. Host was very responsive when we needed to reach out.
We really enjoyed our stay at Toddy Pond. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space to spread out with our extended family. We loved sitting out on the back deck in the morning and kayaking on the water. We had a couple minor maintenance issues that were resolved quickly with good communication from the handy man.If your goal is to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax, we would definitely recommend.
This was our second time staying here and it was just as relaxing as the first. Went hiking and visited Ellsworth during the day, sat by the beautiful fireplace at night playing games with the family. The location is so remote and quiet you really feel like you're leaving the world behind. Highly recommend.
Clean, private location and a good location to Acadia & Bar Harbor. Large family table, kitchen well stocked and use of fishing poles.
Should consider replacement of Gas Grill & Mattresses.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this peaceful and tranquil setting. The house was extremely well equipped and laid out. The owners are very considerate and provide great directions to the house(well off the beaten path) as well as helpful hints on things to do in the area.
We enjoyed our stay at Loon Cove tremendously. The house was beautiful, bright and well-maintained. We had six adults and a two-year old and there was plenty of room for everyone and plenty to do. Kayaks, bicycles, fishing poles, table tennis, board games, books, fully stocked kitchen, tons of towels, blankets, etc. Access to the lake was easy and the weather was great. We would certainly consider visiting again.
My kids and grandkids enjoyed a week at Loon Lake. The house was clean and the common spaces were a delight. Across to the lake was wonderful. We ended up renting kayaks for the week and enjoyed using them to explore the lake. The bathroom situation is awkward, but workable.

The upstairs bath is a glamour bath in the Master, ensuite. The downstairs bath is is a full bath, directly accessible to all bedrooms. Glad you enjoyed everything!
Loved this property! Even better than advertised. A super quiet remote spot. Pond was frozen so we skated for miles, warmed up by the fireplace at night. Great kitchen for cooking family meals. Day trips to Acadia National Park and Ellsworth. Perfect.
